25.01.2022 Hi guys we also had some of our WSSC members at surf state championships today results ironwoman Zara 8th Imogen 10th,in the u/17 ski Phoebe 1st Lily 5th,u/17 swim Phoebe 1st,u/15 iron Tom 15th,Zara 4th in the u/15 board race and board relay, Tom 4th boards relay, Zara youth Cameron 10th, Tom 11th youth Cameron,Rhys 11th in u/17 board and 2nd in boards relay,surf belt open Phoebe 3rd,Lily 4th in the ski relay, Phoebe rescue open female rescue tube 1st,open surf race 4th,u/17 surf race 1st, if I have missed any results please let me know it was a great performance from everyone over the 2 days great job

18.01.2022 Some inspiring swimming from WSSC athletes this weekend at the WA State Age SC Championships. Camerons times from his 50 fly and free (27.94 / 25.14). Jo Ricci dropping .43 to make a low 27. Jakson achieving 25.2. Kiana maintaining her times post the recent Schools Championships. And ... Megan and Jaksons breaststroke results from Sunday evening (630pm when tiredness was setting in), they both managed PBS on their times and swam strongly to achieve great results. Jakson also broke the Club Record with 1.09 (diving on the left in this picture)! You all showed determination and passion this weekend. Thank you.

17.01.2022 LC Junior Championships - Day One & Two Jackson Brace first place in the 50 backstroke. Chris and Jackson go head to head in the100 Free, both finishing with PBs but someone came in slightly faster than the other?? Beau Mepham two PBs and a gold and silver medal for his first States. Jake Tucker and Ben Filear with a PB in the 50 Free. Jackson and Chris adding more new times to their result list in what was a very long day at HBF Stadium.

13.01.2022 Day 4: State Age Championships: Congratulations to Kiana & Jakson in making the finals for 50 free tonight. Jakson finished under the 16yo National Age qualifying time and improved his ranking from 17th to 5th with 25.19. Kiana finished 6th, improving her preliminary swim by .27. Well done on a successful comp.

08.01.2022 Sam Howard attended the South Shore Super Sprint Meet on the weekend and left home with improved times and a few medals. The club achieved an impressive PB improvement amongst the members that attended. Additional mentions to Kiana Mepham and Cameron Leach for their swims.

06.01.2022 State Age LC Champs day 1 & 2 saw Kiana make the final of the Womens 16yo 100 back and PB in both heat and final . Jakson Egan took 5 seconds off his 200 Free. Jakson moved up 5 spots to finish 8th place in tonights final for 100 Breast and took 4.3sec off his swims overall. Both Kiana and Jakson also swam 100 Free this morning with yet more personal best times.

05.01.2022 Its always nice to have some positive feedback and this came from one of our swimming parents this weekend: "Thankyou for coaching Jakson. He swam so well in the Aussies over the past 4 days and made it into the finals as the Teams swimmer. He also swam up in the Opens with the big guys and was happy to come out in the middle and not last. Jacksons swimming has improved so much."

05.01.2022 While we rug up here in Perth, Coach Meph is sunning up in Thailand at Thanyapura, Phuket. Senior swimmers are attending a boot camp week and have flown over to work out at a venue that has access to a 50m pool, gymnasium, yoga studio, running tracks and associated equipment. There are plans to make this an annual event, so keep it in mind for next year if you would like to miss some of our winter and gain some strength and skills at the same time.
