24.01.2022 Did you know that the Ambulance in Wudinna is staffed completely by volunteers? Did you realise that in excess of two thirds of the roster is filled by one person? And that most of the rest of the roster is filled by only 3 other people? Now that one person needs to be away. As a result, Wudinna does NOT have an Ambulance crew this week.... So please..... Don't have a heart attack. Don't have a stroke. Don't have a car accident. Because if you do, you are going to be waiting for over an hour while an ambulance comes from Lock or Kimba. Or even better..... Sign up as an SA Ambulance Volunteer. Because the healthcare of our community shouldn't be the responsibility of only a small handful of people. Edit: Sign up here..... Please. Since then..... - 283 Influenza Vaccines have been given. - 50 Pneumonia Vaccines have been given.... - 220 scripts for private Influenza Vaccines have been written. All in just 13 clinic days. First we wil...l be having a youth session at the skate park, free snags, tunes and a chat from 4pm, then on into the main event! The aim of the ‘2 Blokes and a Black Dog’ Comedy Road-tour is a shout out to our small communities impacted by drought; An opportunity to empower, support and connect our communities over a night of moving stories with a few laughs along the way.
