21.01.2022 Everyone knows we are terribly slow at responding to emails... (We may still use the 1938-45 Anglo-Germanic Tiff as an excuse.) However, we do get an average of 80 emails per day, then the phone rings, then we are rushing to get out all your orders, then Bridget and I are trying to work on new products, then there is someone that needs yelling at (always), then there are the small humans standing in our house asking us who we are and what is this "mummy and daddy" stuff we keep mentioning. In short, sorry we're slow at responding to emails, we're very well aware of the fact. We thank you all for understanding and putting up with it. Anyway, it's 1:30am, we've got more emails to respond to. We shall see how we go.

17.01.2022 A little while ago, some of you asked for a link to the talk I was asked to do for the NMRAX group about manufacturing... So here it is. Aside from the dopey looking moustache emblazoned bloke, hopefully, it sheds a bit of light on what goes into our models. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3pBuxGY0vE

17.01.2022 Yet another new thing has begun...

16.01.2022 We think Ashley Pitcher's first time weathering one of our locomotives turned out pretty fantastically. We'd happily run this on our personal layout. Very well done, Ash.

15.01.2022 Great news!! The bridge timbers have been found! It was a genuine mistake by the people who took them and we really appreciate that they contacted us as soon as... they found out. They are returning them at the weekend. Thanks to everyone who supported us over this. Our volunteers work so hard and they really appreciate the support we receive from the community. Thanks again to everyone involved. See more

14.01.2022 These are items being sold that belonged to the late Frank Blades - a fantastic bloke and great modeller. The locomotives are sound equipped and a lot of the rollingstock and locos haven't been available for some time. An absolute steal - get in quick. Cheers, Adam and Bridget.

14.01.2022 Yet another mold in progress... can anyone guess what this one is?

14.01.2022 Planning for the 2021 Bundaberg Model Train & Hobby Expo is progressing forward towards the planned dates of 20 & 21 March 2021. The Bundaberg Multiplex Spor...ts & Convention Centre has been booked and confirmed for the planned dates, and we are now preparing to send out application forms to exhibitors in the next few days. Announcements last week by Queensland Health of the easing of Covid-19 restrictions for public events are encouraging, and we are optimistic that there will be further easing of restrictions early in 2021. These requirements will be monitored carefully by our Club in the coming months to evaluate how they will impact upon the 2021 expo.

14.01.2022 More deliveries at Wuiske HQ. We're both excited.

11.01.2022 Okay, stick with me, this is going to be a lengthy post... Wuiske Models is proud to announce EIGHT shiny new products to help with everyone's layouts. After much debate, we've bitten the bullet and produced a whole swag of different high pressure, injection molded doors and windows. All built to AUSTRALIAN standards! The Aluminium Framed Windows have been a staple of the Australian building landscape for 60 years and are still relatively unchanged (save for fancy colours). A...s such, we've released four different sizes for you residential, commercial and industrial buildings. In addition to this, we've reproduced the standard Aussie Sliding Glass Door. The phrase "bringing the outdoors indoors" comes to mind and may refer to more than just mozzies. Also, we've got three standard Australian 810mm doors. These should suit all applications from offices, timber and brick houses to industrial buildings. For added security (to keep your HO scale petty cash tins safe), all doors come with a purely decorative dead bolt so your HO scale figures can sleep in decorative comfort. Lastly, we've released a bulk pack containing an assortment of 24 of these items to save you even more money. All these items can be found in the Accessories section of the catalogue. https://wuiskemodels.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=48 See more

10.01.2022 Have a spooky evening, guys. Adam & Bridget.

10.01.2022 As a result of the Covid 19 epidemic in Australia the 2020 Brisbane Model Train Show was postponed from its original date of 2 & 3 May,2020. AMRA QLD had hope...d to conduct the show on its standby date of 19 & 20 September,2020. Because of continuing infections in the southern states our committee believes it is currently unsafe to hold this years show. Accordingly this years show is now cancelled. Our next Brisbane Model Train Show will be held in the RNA Exhibition Building on 1 & 2 MAY,2021. For those traders who have paid amounts towards participation in the 2020 show, would you please advise this week if you want these payments refunded or held over until next years show. Our financial year finishes on 31 July,2020 and we would like to finalise all refunds by that date. In the meantime, our next Open Day will be held at our Zillmere clubrooms on 17 October,2020. We hope to see as many of you as possible on that day. Committee Of AMRA QLD
