24.01.2022 Have an incredible weekend!

23.01.2022 Ready to hit the road! Last summer’s devastating bushfires have highlighted the crucial need for innovative developments to provide essential support to wildlife during a crisis. In response, WWF-Australia is supporting Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital on Australia's largest Mobile Wildlife Hospital. It’s now on its way to its Byron Bay base ready to provide vital support now, and into the future. This is all a part of our ambitious plan to #RegenerateAustralia. If you would like to provide further support for vital regeneration programs like the mobile wildlife hospital, follow this link https://wwfau.org/Regenerate-Australia

23.01.2022 Today is World Kindness Day! Show kindness to nature today (and every day) by raising your voice for the voiceless. Right now, we have the chance to demand stronger protections of Australia's nature laws. Your voice is powerful https://wwfau.org/end-extinction

21.01.2022 We welcome this census, but it needs to come with a commitment by the Australian Government to better enforce laws to protect koala habitat. Another important step would be listing the koala as an endangered species in Eastern Australia to increase protection for forests where koalas live

21.01.2022 We have seen some tough times this year. But we’ve also seen incredible acts of generosity too. This #GivingTuesday we want to give thanks to all our supporters. Together, we have been able to achieve so much for people and nature. So many of you have shown your support through donations, your voice, your time and by engaging with our work. Without this support, none of what we do would be possible. THANK YOU How has 2020 inspired you to give? Share your giving stories with us

21.01.2022 Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters we have been able to help fund Kangaroo Island Landscape Board Native Plant Nursery grow 6000 sheoak seedlings! More https://bit.ly/2RRZiq6

18.01.2022 UPDATEKoalas live to fight another day after the Nationals backed off their threats to the Premier this morning. The koala is a national symbol and an animal that is increasingly endangered after some of the largest bushfires the state has ever seen. This is not time to water down their protections. We need all sides of politics to be working together for the sake of their survival

18.01.2022 A win for nature! A Senate Inquiry into Australia’s nature laws has seen the Greens, Labor and the Crossbench reject the Morrison Government’s controversial Streamlining Bill that could have put our wildlife on the fast-track to extinction #EPBC

18.01.2022 Why do we need federal oversight of Australia's EPBC Act? Sussan Ley MP has used national environment laws to refuse a proposal to clear land at Kingvale Station. Were it not for federal oversight the clearing would have occurred as it had already been approved by the state. More here
