25.01.2022 The BIGGENDEN APEX CLUB would like to advise that due to a whole range reasons combined, we have decided to not have fireworks at this years Christmas Fair. The community (if not the whole of the country) has mixed feelings and emotions towards fireworks, so this year we decided to do something a little different in the line of entertainment and have highly popular MAGICIAN Josh Norbido (very successful on Australias got talent) coming to entertain with some close up street magic AND a stage show towards the end of the evening! Come along and enjoy our street fair from 5-9pm in Edward street, where we will have kids rides, ham and seafood raffles, magician performing, market and food stalls etc etc. It quite often storms at some point during the fair, so heres hoping we can manage it again!

22.01.2022 Hi everyone! As you all know, we have the Christmas fair coming up very quickly on the 21st December from 5pm and wanted to let you know about some of the deals we have going at this years festival! Kids rides - 4 activities (including laser tag) for 4 hours, just $25 per person! Where else will you find a babysitter for just $6.25 per hour?? Tickets available on the gate. Individual rides for those who may not get the value out of buying a 4 hour pass - $5 per ride.... Ham and seafood raffles - $1 per ticket gives you your chance to win a beautiful seafood tray from Grunskes in Bundaberg, or a fantastic leg ham from Big meats here in Biggenden. A total of 20 raffles for the evening, so theres plenty to be won!! Steakburgers and sausage on bread. Apexians around Australia are proud of offering up great value and delicious burgers at any function and this year is no different. Steak burgers just $6 each and sausage on bread $2! We will even let you put the onion on top of the sausage.... because we are risk takers Come along and forget the drought - join us for a magical evening inspired by street and stage performances by renowned magician Josh Norbido (famous from Australias Got Talent). We are still looking for stall holders, so if youre thinking about it, its not too late to organize a stall and come along.

20.01.2022 WERE BACK! - The Apex Club of Biggenden is back after a long break due to COVID 19 but we are now 10 members strong and working out what we can do for the community. - We considered having a dinner event in celebration of our reaching 1300 dinner meetings but unfortunately that has been put on hold as well. - We are in the process of working through the Christmas Fair details and will advise the community in due course. ... - Last night we resumed our Friday night raffles and kicked it off with two seafood trays. A $30 one and a $50 one. First prize was won by KIRSTEN BUST and the second by SONNY from the caravan park! Thank you again for all your support. See more

19.01.2022 Good morning Biggenden! After having a period of time away, the Apex Club of Biggenden is up and running with 2 new prospect members. We are so grateful for their support. The club has struggled in the past and we are always looking for new members. We say farewell to a couple of members and thank them for their service. If you are interested to find out what we are about then please contact us, we would love to have you along. 15.01.2022 So very happy to have inducted four new members to the Apex Club of Biggenden. Last Wednesday we invited our incoming Regional Convenor Kaden Bryant to undertake the induction of our prospexians. David Geissler, Zoe McMeekin, Emily Spry and Eloise Wattie. They all agreed to conduct themselves by the standard of the ideals of the Apex club. We also had the pleasure of meeting Greg from National office and his guest Brett. ... 13.01.2022 ** Cut Off Day ** There is plenty of talk about the Biggenden Apex Rose Festival Ball. The first in 21 years! 50 years since the first Rose Ball! Certainly something to celebrate in our beautiful little community. But . . . theres always a but. We just havent sold enough tickets. Not even close. We must provide a number to our caterers on Monday, therefore if you are planning on coming along please get into Debs Country Outfitters, or contact Michelle on 0401 241 412 before Monday to get your tickets and support this wonderful event.

13.01.2022 Biggenden Apex on the Map! This weekend is Apex National Convention. In complying with COVID-19 Apex was unfortunately prevented from holding a National Convention this year. Queensland was the only state that decided to hold its own ‘local’ convention. So on Friday morning Dunk set off with two of his club members, on his latest road trip to Wandoan. He will be joined there by approximately 100 other Apexians from around the State, comprising of 20 different clubs. Dunk doe...sn’t travel so well and likes to stop wherever he can. 09.01.2022 Biggenden Apex Christmas Fair is on tomorrow night in Edward street from 5pm! We wish to advise that the street will be closed to traffic from 4pm from both ends of the rose gardens & across to the RV travel stop & mens shed area. Plenty of food, clothing, gift, knicknack stalls, coffee and ice cream and many more will be there for all to enjoy as well as Santa Claus and fireworks.... Apex BBQ will be in full swing cooking steak burgers and sausage on bread and selling soft drinks. KIDS RIDES!!!! This year we have a new rides company coming and all the ride taking will be going straight back to our club. Rides will all be $5 each or wrist bands can be purchased for hours of fun! 4 hour deal of non stop rides fun for just $25 per person!! Come along and join the fun! See you at the fair

03.01.2022 Biggenden Apex Christmas Fair will be going ahead this year as per normal. 23/12/17 from 5-9 pm! Rides, fireworks, raffles, giveaways, food stalls, SANTA and much, much more! At this stage we are holding the fair down the Main Street (Edward street), but are just waiting on final confirmation from the relevant authorities regarding street closures.... nothing is ever easy!! We look forward to seeing you there for a great family night as always!

02.01.2022 APEX Club of Biggenden Christmas Fair 2106! A huge thank you to all those who helped in some way, volunteers, club members, stall holders, band, Lenny and most importantly the patrons. A little disappointing to see crowd numbers down but still a fabulous night had by all! From us at APEX, wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year.
01.01.2022 We are pleased to announce that our Christmas street fair will in fact be down the main street again it has been a nail biting endeavour but the powers that be are all on board. Cool heads have prevailed in what has been a long road, so please every one Mark your calender the date is set 23rd 5 to 9 pm there will be street stalls, raffles, kids rides, fireworks and of course the big red man himself will be making a special trip our way. Hope too see you all there oh and don t forget to fill out your entry form for our wheelbarrow hamper just drop them off at the bakery they should be in your mailbox by Monday.
