25.01.2022 She's A True Rescue Dog Who Needs Help!! Faith is a Wolfhound who needs special care to help her overcome her fear of people. To help out any carer, PHC is hap...py to enlist the services of an excellent trainer (Pauline) who has a great track record in Mount Isa. Faith was bailed out of the pound just over two months ago and has been in foster care since then... However, this incredibly timid girl needs a huge amount of patience and love... She is so scared, especially of men, and literally can go into a state of fear and panic. We feel she would fare better in a home where there is at least one other dog who she can lean on... We have 'faith' that the confidence and contentment of another canine might give her a bit more bravado to face the humans in her life. She has absolutely no aggression in her nature but obviously someone has frightened the hell out of her and it is heartbreaking to see how much fear she endures. If you see yourself as a possible "dog whisperer", please give this girl a go. Ring Sue on 0456664255 if can help.

19.01.2022 Beautiful Creatures has put the Covid-19 lockdown time to excellent use. After years of not having the time, we’re doing the WIRES Course! Absolutely loving it

19.01.2022 Hi all, not to sure what to do so posting here. We have a big beautiful bull arab called Zeus, he is 4 years old. We rescued him when he was 2 due to previous o...wners not being able to provide a house with fencing - or some random reason like that. We have had him since and he has been the most loving dog for us and our 3 kids, only doing some chewing of clothes and the odd window screen ha ha but nothing that he hasn’t grown out of since. However, he has become increasingly protective recently and it is now aggressive at times. For complete transparency, he did bite a friend of ours recently and that has been the catalyst to seek rehoming. This may be a red flag for some, and we understand that as it has been for us, however we have a lot of visitors to our home business and his unpredictablity is now a risk for us. We have called around, and the end result is always to put him down due to the biting incident. No one will train, and this trait apparently can’t be removed from a dog. But he is too good of a dog to be put down, and I know someone will love his love as much as we have. Someone who is relaxed and happy for cuddles all the time, and may benefit from him protecting the family or house wherever that may be. It’s upsetting us even more to do this to him a 2nd time, so please be conscious of this when considering him. That being said, any help and support from you all around rehoming Zeus would be greatly appreciated. Edit: A lot of great responses all and thank you. The intention was never to give him away and we certainly would be interviewing those considering him. The last thing I would want for him is to be used for fighting, not a chance. 05.01.2022 13 week old Scooter finds the cleaner fascinating

01.01.2022 It’s me, Colleen from Beautiful Creatures just catching up after the Year From Hell. And we’ve still got 6 weeks to go That means, 5 weeks until Christmas ... Lots of customers ask me if I’m still minding pets and the answer is a resounding YES. So, if you think you might go away over the Christmas Holidays (dependent on bushfires, monster hail storms or another massive killer-virus), give me a hoi on 0423 135 070. And remember, this is what heaven looks like
