23.01.2022 So we get to come back to work tomorrow!! I guess we are an essential service being a barber as we are also everything listed in the picture below!!! Unfortunately due to Covid 19 and people doing what they are told (staying at home) Ive had to stand down a team member temporarily . And they way things are going may have to stand down others in the coming days. I have decided to trial an appointment system so we can judge how many staff are needed on each day and it wil...l also limit the amount of people waiting and also waiting times.. 22.01.2022 Definitely getting the missus a F$&&en present this year. Last Xmas I asked her Babe, what do you want for Xmas? She smiled all blushy and said Oh nah nothing, I have everything I want right here (referring to our relationship etc) and i thought yea fair enough, you are definitely winning in that department. So anyway Xmas day approaches and everyones opening their presents, all exited, as ya do on Xmas morning.... The missus sits there empty handed and my son said daddy mummy hasnt got any presents I said mummy didnt want any presents she looked quite sad and I suddenly clicked!!... I thought, Ahhhhh Fucksakes! I see whats happened here! This is like when we try to choose a takeaway and she says she doesnt care which one we get but then when I choose one, she decides its not the one she wants and we just go round in circles naming every single shop in Southland only to end up getting the first option she declined. Or when Im at Macas drive thru repeating myself one million times to the drive thru person and I ask the missus you want anything? And she says no but then starts eating my fucking fries! Its like those times ahhhhhh She actually did want a present all this time! even though she said she didnt want anything. So I thought, righto I have no material gifts, how bout some nice gestures... So she was about to start doing dishes And I said Babe You dont have to do any of the dishes today She smiled from ear to ear I said You can just do them tomorrow if you want She lost the fucking plot and started doing angry dishes. you guys ever seen anyone do angry dishes? When They are shitty and they want you to know, so they slam all the dishes down and bash them around the sink etc while washing them? Shit is awkward asf So anyway this year I got the missus a waterproof apron so she doesnt get all wet when she does angry dishes this year Anyway, Get ya lady a gift guys, these women are nuts

22.01.2022 Well, the past 6 weeks have definitely been very interesting. Covid 19 has really brought out the best in people, but also brought out the worst in others!! I am happy to say that from this Saturday we will be back to doing walk in customers.. I know a lot of you will be very happy to her this, and others wont, but we cant keep everyone happy.. For those who are loving the appointment system we will still keep it in place for the foreseeable and see how it goes!! We hav...e guidelines inside the shop so please read and follow what it says!! Kids are very welcome, but must be well supervised and not climbing or jumping, on every seat available or running around the shop.. Thank you to all our amazing customers that have supported us these past couple of months, your patience and understanding has made our lives a bit easier, and for those who were just rude to us for being inconvenienced, well......... 21.01.2022 WE ARE OPEN We have 3 barbers on the tools today... New government restrictions have put a limit on how many people we can have inside the sho...p. We are lucky to have a 78sqm shop so keeping the social distance is easy when you are waiting.. Due to these restrictions we have had to suspend some services. *no razor work *no facial services (beard,moustache) * only people who are having haircuts to be inside unless you have brought kids this will also minimise how many people are in the shop We do ask that if you are bringing the little kids in for their haircut, that you supervise them at all times, so please leave your phone in your pocket if they are with you, we have removed all of our toys so it makes it a bit harder to keep them in 1 seat, as when they decide to play musical chairs in the shop it makes the waiting time longer as we have to sanitise the chairs more!! I dont like to state the obvious but If you are sick or feeling unwell stay at home. If you have been overseas in the last 2 weeks stay at home. If you don't have good personal hygiene, stay at home. If everybody could also please come with clean washed hair, we would appreciate it as if the hair is dirty we will have to wash it ourselves and it will be $5 extra. I think that just about covers it. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes. But if we are to remain open and stay employed we need everyone to do their bit by staying clean and following the above. Stay safe, clean and be kind to one another and we'll all get through this shitshow together

10.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT It is with great sadness that Jack and I have decided to cease trading at 5pm Thursday 2nd of April.. This was definitely not an easy decision to make.. I have to put the safety, health and well being of my family and chosen family Natalie Taylor-Dunn Vicky Lee Brown and Marcus Rahaman first .. and of course the safety of all our loyal customers..... This will only be a temporary closure until All blows over with the Covid 19.
