17.01.2022 What an amazing result for our Snr Women’s Turf teams . We only have 3 teams but all are in the top 3 placing. Div 1 placed 3rd, Div 2 placed 2nd and Div 3 placed 1st. All 3 teams play at the SHC Field 1, back to back starting from 12pm . The club is super proud . Come on down and support, but of course with all COVID safe practices and requirements. ‘ Let Victory Be Ours ‘

17.01.2022 The Club is extremely happy to announce the Women’s Division One Coach for 2021 is TOM BROUGH. Tom has been with the club since 1991, we look forward to the passion , energy and vision he will bring , filtering down thru all snrs and jnrs, turf and grass. Tom has played 320 division 1 games for Commercial , played in 13 grand finals winning 8 premierships.... Captain: 8 years 2008-2015 Blades: player 2005-2009 A Commercial junior from 1991 to senior and retired in 2018... that comes to 27 invaluable years of not just playing for Commercial but being part of creating club culture and club spirit. Grow better people not just hockey players He would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank his wife- Ally and their 3 children for supporting him in taking this role in 2021. ‘’I am lucky to be surrounded by strong and intelligent women in my life. And on that note, Thankyou Tom .

17.01.2022 What a fantastic shot of Max Mackley playing for the U15 Brisbane 1 indoor team at Maryborough over the weekend. The only Commercial boy in the tournament, however Cooper Cabot coached the Brisbane 2’s and assisted with Brisbane 1, Craig Cabot managed the Brisbane 1. The team came fifth overall. Congratulations Max and fantastic to see club members Cooper and Craig Cabot coaching and managing. Great effort all round .

16.01.2022 Congratulations to the boys from Commercial who were a part of the Brisbane 1 team to WIN the U13 state championships - DIV 1 - over the weekend . Team members included Fletcher Cabot, Jake Collyer and Max Lawrence. All played well and the team went through without losing a game or conceding a goal, Fletcher got 3 goals and Max was able to go the whole tournament without conceding a single goal. Sadly Jake had his hand broken during the second game and was unable to play the remaining games although stuck apart of the team supporting the boys from the sideline. The team was coached by Cooper Cabot and managed by Craig Cabot . Thankyou to all and huge congratulations.

12.01.2022 It’s with sadness the wife of Cobra Life Member Alan Robertson has passed away this morning. Margaret Robertson was awarded the Award of Merit for all her amazing work done for CHC. CHC would like to pass on deepest condolences to Alan and the Robertson Family at this time of sadness.

Sara Furness, Audrey Tighe, Ella Taylor and Rebecca Milne all played their last junior game as they age out and will be missed greatly but look forward to seeing them shine in seniors. 05.01.2022 Congrats to all the junior boys who also participated in the schoolboys U19 competition in Rockhampton . Jack Spina, Cooper Cabot, Anton Boujaode and Asher England all played their hearts out, well done boys. The MetNorth team came top of their pool, but unfortunately marginally lost in the semi-finals to Wide Bay in a penalty shootout. Wide Bay were the winners in the final, winning convincingly over Met East. Nice one Cobras.
