25.01.2022 Hi Dieselheat customers, just a note to let you know we are still open and conducting business as normal for all online or phone sales. For any face to face sales and work in RVs we have the attached procedures in place to maintain the social distances and to limit the possibility of transmitting Covid-19 via hard surfaces. If you are going to pay us a visit in Cygnet, please check this procedure before you come. We want to take this opportunity to remind all our past, present... and future customers to take care of yourselves and don't take any chances. We are taking Covid-19 very seriously and we wish you the best of luck in working through these unusual (scary) times. If there is anything we can do to assist anyone, particularly if you are stranded in Tassie please contact us. Nick and the Dieselheat team. #covid_19 #covid19protection #dieselheater

23.01.2022 This image is looking at the side of the tiny home by Little Latitude Homes. The hydronic radiator is inside, while the diesel furnace is mounted outside and will eventually have a cover. If you're curious, the cladding is spruce from Norway, left bare for natural ageing.

23.01.2022 Finally - after promising it to ourselves for a year and a half - we got our coffee machine. If we don't answer the phone in the morning, it is probably because we are all standing around trying to work out how to make a good cup of coffee.... If you are lucky enough to make it down here to Tassie, stop by and the coffee is on us.

21.01.2022 After many iterations and adjustments over the last year, the new Dieselheat portable is nearly ready to launch. Smaller, smarter (looking) and featuring a stainless steel case, integrated fuel tank and either a Belief or Eberspcher diesel air heater, it is a big step forward. We are making final adjustments to ensure that it works well and can be scaled up for production. The photo is of our latest version on the workbench, cleaned up and ready for final testing.

20.01.2022 We are involved in an interesting project setting up hydronic heating in a tiny house being built by Little Latitude Homes here in Tassie. Using a Eberspacher hydronic furnace and domestic heating panels, our system will heat the house. It will also provide a solar boost system for when the solar hot water is not hot enough. Photos show the tiny house with hydronic pipes installed. More to come as this project develops.....

18.01.2022 Despite Covid 19 we are continuing to roll out new products which will feel will be of use to our customers. We are excited to show off the new high quality Australian made underfloor diesel heater fuel tank. This tank is designed to fit between a caravan chassis and floor, bolting securely through the chassis. The tank is very strong and comes with all mounting hardware, bash plates and outlet/breather. This tank is a great option if you don't have space for one of our other wafer or easy fit tanks that go in front boots, tunnel boot or on the draw bar. #dieselheater

15.01.2022 Here we are assembling the hydronic furnace for our tiny house heating project with Little Latitude Homes ( https://www.littlelatitudehomes.com.au/ ). Running on 12v and diesel, this furnace will run the hydronic wall panels and also act as a booster for the solar system when the sun isn't shining (which never happens down here in Tassie....) We have done extensive testing of a prototype system in our office and we know this is going to work really well in the tiny.

08.01.2022 This Eberspacher D2 (http://ow.ly/fadB50BqQ5E) came to us after being incorrectly diagnosed as a broken ECU. The customer was advised by a service centre to change the pump and controller. He contacted us after he was quoted for the change of ECU. What was wrong with it? When we received it and pulled it apart, the fan wheel was rubbing the case and eventually jammed. After assembling it properly, we tested all the "malfunctioning" components and everything worked fine.

06.01.2022 Finally, after a long wait, we are doing our first production run of the new Dieselheat portable heater . The first 20, with a combination of Belief (http://ow.ly/wisj50BqPYT) and Eberspcher (http://ow.ly/W0gC50BqPYU) heaters installed, will be coming off the 'production line' over the next few days. We are looking forward to having this super compact, high quality stainless steel portable ready to ship out to our customers who have been patiently waiting.

04.01.2022 A brand new Wallas 87D diesel oven and stove is being trial fitted in a super tough, all aluminium truck-mounted slide on being built by Dynamic Engineering and Fabrication https://www.facebook.com/DynamicSlideoncampers/. When you start a project like this there is a lot to consider around how to set things up so it all works realiably. Location of appliances, power, fuel, cooling all need to be considered. If you are getting into a build of your own check out our page on Diesel Appliance Design and Installation Considerations - https://www.dieselheat.com.au//diesel-appliance-design-an/ We hope the tips on this page help you make your project a success.

01.01.2022 As part of testing we took the new portable on a short trip away to Derby for some camping and mounting bike riding. It was very wet overnight but it kept pumping away despite being out in heavy rain, providing us warmth throughout the night. It performed beautifully heating my Jayco Hawk (it was cold but not freezing) and everyone had a great night's sleep - ready to hit the trails the next day.
