24.01.2022 Today was a hard day for Dr Calum, saying goodbye to his AMAZING Dental Assistant Tiarnne. Tiarnne is taking some time off to welcome her second bundle of joy. Whilst we will miss her dearly, we are so excited for Tiarnne and her family. Thank you Tiarnne - we hope you know how much we appreciate you. We are already counting down for your return in 2021

Charlotte works alongside Dr Calum at Wellington Point, and is a very gentle and meticulous OHT. ... Today's 5 questions for fun are with Charlotte... 1. In 3 words, how would your friends and family describe you? Kindhearted, responsible, honest. 2. What accomplishment are you most proud of? My two beautiful children. 3. Would you rather live for a week in the past or the future? Why? I would choose the future. The world has advanced so much in the past 100 years, I think it would be very interesting to see the technology available in another 100 years from now. 4. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? The Greek Islands because I have always been fascinated by Greek history and mythology. I would love to visit the historical ruins, and laze on the beaches with a cocktail in hand. 5. What is the best piece of advice you've received? Find a job that you love, and youll never work a day in your life!

22.01.2022 | Getting back to business | We are very excited to confirm that as of next Monday, Dentistry is moving back to Level 2 restrictions. Weve remained open throughout the past few weeks looking after patients experiencing dental emergencies, but with this shift to Level 2 comes a few important changes here at Floss: We can re-commence dental examinations/check-ups, and many (though certainly not all) treatments that were previously on hold can now be completed ... We will be open for our normal trading hours again starting next Monday (8am - 8pm Mondays and Wednesdays, 8am - 5pm Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays, and by appointment on Saturday) We will of course continue to take very strict precautions at our practices, making sure that we do everything we can to protect the health of our patients, our staff and the community. Precautions includes: Careful patient pre-screening to ensure any at-risk patients do not attend the practice Increased sanitisation processes Increased gaps between patients to allow for additional cleaning and to minimise the number of people in the practice at any time Additional space between chairs in the waiting rooms In the next week, our wonderful Front Office team will be in touch with patients who werent able to come in during Level 3 restrictions, but who may be able to visit us again soon. Georgia has an infectious smile, and does a terrific job of caring for the smiles of her many patients. Georgia's 5 for fun might tell you a little more about her bubbly character!... 1. In 3 words, how would your friends and family describe you? Kind, easy-going (I've been known as a laid-back lizard), determined. 2. What accomplishment are you most proud of? That I have a close-knit and supportive family. 3. Would you rather live for a week in the past or the future? Why? Neither - I think you should live in the moment. I don't like to know my future, and I'm a big believer that you shouldn't dwell on the past. But if I had to choose, I'd pull a Time Traveller's Wide and break up my week into little parts so I could go into the future sometimes and the past others. And maybe bring the lotto numbers from the future back just once! 4. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Washington DC - my favourite place for a few reasons. I love the cold (especially the snow), my favourite museum, The Newseum, is there, and don't forget the mac'n'cheese at Founding Farmers. 5. What is the best piece of advice you've received? Everything happens for a reason.

She joined our team in January this year, but we cannot remember now what we did without her! Charlotte has such a beautiful, happy attitude. I always try to run my own race, and if I do any comparisons I try to limit it to my past self. So usually I come out on top ha!

11.01.2022 Its been an exciting week for us here at Floss. The Government have now eased restrictions on Dentistry further, meaning we can now complete our usual full suite of dental services (this includes cleans and cosmetic dentistry). Of course, we will keep all of the extra safety precautions and patient screening in place, making sure we do what we can to look after the health of our patients and team.
