15.01.2022 Hi Everybody, With all the uncertainty about Christmas Services and potential lockdowns. In case we are in lockdown I am making a Christmas Day Service Video. I would love as many of you to contribute as possible. If you could film a prayer, a bible reading, a reflection or even sing your favourite carol and I will add it to our video. :) ... If you could send in the video by 9pm Thursday so I can edit it all together. You can send the video via email or msg it through Facebook or phone. Regardless of whether we can meet or not, we will be using the video for our Christmas Service. If we can meet the service will be on at 9 am as usual. Blessings, Mitch

06.01.2022 Hello Heartbeat Church, Undoubtedly many of you have seen tonight's news and the closure of RPCS today. As per the recommendations from the NSW Health Department the school was closed for deep cleaning. Following the deep clean, the school will reopen tomorrow morning, and classes will resume. In addition, Heartbeat Church's regular Sunday Service will be running as per usual from 10 am. ... I want to thank Les for the fantastic job he has done over the past six months in leading our school community throughout this challenging period. The school has excellent COVID management processes, and its swift action has minimised the risk to the school and broader community. This incident is a reminder of the "new normal" we live in and the need to be constantly vigilant about cleaning and personal hygiene. I thank God that today's incident was able to be handled with minimal disruption. Please continue to be in prayer for the school and the broader community for God's continual protection from COVID. If you have not heard from midnight tonight, there will be mandatory mask-wearing at indoor venues and a cap of 100 people at places of worship. https://www.smh.com.au//masks-mandatory-in-nsw-shops-on-pu ... Currently, I am in Nelson Bay (lovely and COVID free), and by the time I am back in Sydney, it will be hard to organise a physical service with all the new restrictions.
