25.01.2022 C’mon Mumms..... Hand those damn things over.

23.01.2022 Dear darling wobbly old Wellington..... Who we guesstimate to be around 16 years old. Yesterday underwent a dental. NO need needed to extracted (a first for us with such a wobbly old dog).... He has very heavy tartar, which was scaled off leaving his mouth shiny & minty fresh. His ears have been a problem, but a new swab test revealed all is looking much healthier. His ears were able to be properly cleaned out whilst he was under anaesthetic. He still has significant yeasty odour coming off his skin & will require medicated baths twice a week. Last night he remained in vet care under a fluid drip (given his age). Today he comes home. He will recover over the next few days & then guess wot????? He is now finally ready for adoption enquires. Let’s find him that beautiful kind home, for this amazingly gentle little cherub.

23.01.2022 Tell me..... How on earth are we supposed to tell the difference?????

23.01.2022 Often..... People irritate me. Dogs - often not. ...

23.01.2022 Ever wondered HOW EASY is it for blind dogs to map out their new surroundings??? Watch this. 3 weeks in & Peppy can easily & happily navigate himself around perfectly.... And yes..... he is 100% blind.

23.01.2022 Just sayin.......

22.01.2022 ** Now taking enquires for adoption ** WELLINGTON Beautiful darling wobbly old boy Wellington. ... Who’s owner was rushed into hospital & then surrendered to the shelter by a family member. No information or even name is known. A little old dog, who’s world fell apart when removed from his home. So much so - he completely shut down whilst at the shelter. Hospitalised for over a week & hand fed, it was touch & go as to whether he’d show signs of improvement. Eventually he did. And it was decided by the shelter that he’d do better in a foster care he (with a more specialised rescue group). We’ve seen a very depressed dog arrive, who’s now blossomed into a very happy little boy. His tail wags. He trots about. His appetite has returned. And he now appears to love life. Transitioning from PFT to a new furever home will be much easier for him. He’s in a good placeemotionally. He’s in a great place physically. He’s now available for adoption. I stress (as always), absolutely no time wasters please. There is enough info on this FB page to get a good overall idea on who & what Wellington is about. We are interested in hearing from people only once they’ve decided they’d like to give a home to this dear little dog. We don’t try to sell PFT dogs. We don’t try to market them as perfect pets. None of my PFT dogs are promoted to adopt They are old & crusty & have health issues & may not be toilet trained & may hate some humans or may hate some dogs. It’s you who needs to decide whether our PFT dogs are for you. You need to convince us that you’re suitable & why you wish to adopt. Wellington is old. And wobbly. And he will eventually need regular vet care. He will cost some money. May toilet his bed. Is not a dog you can drag off to the park. And may soon even break your heart. Are you worthy of him? Wellington is delicious. He’s kind. And gentle. Never makes a sound. And potters about when not sleeping 20 hours a day. If your looking to care for a geriatric dog... Wellington is perfect. He requires a home with kindness. Company. Gentle strolls around the block. A pram perhaps. And the assurance that when he gets older & gets sicker - vet care is an absolute must. He’s ready to go in the next 7-10 days to the right home (and I will be very picky). Adoption fee is $400 Please contact us only after ALL members in the family have been consulted and agreed with. No interstate adoption Pick up / adoption in Sydney northern suburbs To apply:- Email [email protected] Please decide first before contacting, that you wish to adopt. Detailed email please - two liners won’t be responded to. Don’t miss out on this kind beautiful boy. He will make a new family very very very happy.

20.01.2022 My friends tease me all the time - because I’m obsessed with things that match.

20.01.2022 Could there simply be ZERO waist going on here??????

19.01.2022 WELLINGTON Adopted from PFT only 6 days ago. And so I wonder........ How is he going???

14.01.2022 After weeks of a snotty nose and not feeling the best..... A wash, clip, back wax & crack is very much needed. And he’s not happy Jan!!!!

13.01.2022 MR McLOAF So........ He’s home. A new one.... Loving life. With a lovely new Mumms. And 4 other furry canine friends to forever keep him company. I’m so happy. My hunky McLoafie boy, finally getting his fabulous new happily ever after.

13.01.2022 Have you ever wondered how tiny the PFT dogs actually are?? Bumble Bee

12.01.2022 BAD BOY BORIS Who would have thought....... After having a dental in July (4 months ago) - that he has to undergo ANOTHER one for a bad & infected tooth.... He has such a significant build up of tartar already in a short space of time & it’s possible that one of his upper teeth may need to be removed. He doesn’t do well under anaesthetic. But his breath is bad, he’s not eating with great gusto & he appears to also be in pain. Bad breath = problems. Old dogs = worry. Please send him healing vibes for today, as we know he struggles with recovery after surgery.

12.01.2022 PEPPY What a beautiful soul. In some ways a very complex dog. But in other ways - such an easy dog to have around.... He may be blind, but it makes no difference to the way in which he lives in our home. Isn’t he gorgeous???

12.01.2022 We’re a week behind........ Because they were delivered to the wrong state. Because the courier company was pretty useless.... Because Mrs PFT ended up running down the street (glamorously yelling, cursing & waving her hands in the air) after the delivery guy stormed out without the boxes. It’s been a fraught week. But they arrived today PFT 2021 calendars Photographed, designed, distributed with much love. Calendars will be on their way next Monday. Get ready. Get set. Enjoy.

12.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who donated & bid on our first Auction, together we raised $1,477.00Thank you to everyone who donated & bid on our first Auction, together we raised $1,477.00

10.01.2022 I. See. You.... Dadds. Any food for me?????

09.01.2022 Dear Dadds, Yeah. Nah. Don’t think you’re going to be able to work today.... Teee hee heee.

07.01.2022 Does anyone remember this handsome dude??? Seems he’s not going anywhere flash anytime too soon.

06.01.2022 BEAUTIFUL BORIS Today we didn’t call him a Bad Boy. He sailed (thankfully) through his anaesthetic. Which we had prepped for 1 week ago, with a week’s course of antibiotics PRIOR to surgery.... He had 2 molars removed (1 was mobile & the other one’s gum had receded 4mm & was very painful). Tonight he was on pain relief & antibiotics. But didn’t eat a thing. He’ll sleep well tonight I’m sure. We’re glad this is now behind us. Anaesthetic on a dog who doesn’t cope too well with it - is always a worry. No more sore & infected toofie pegs.

05.01.2022 Can you guess........ Which little orange dude is today having some yummy laser therapy for arthritic creaky old bones???

05.01.2022 A mad mad rush to get the dogs out this morning....... 7:40am And it’s already 31 degrees....

04.01.2022 When The Nug Nug just can’t help being an exhibitionist.

03.01.2022 Just ANOTHER cart video of today. Do they make you smile???

02.01.2022 Today it’s 40 degrees outside. Inside - we have 2 air conditioning units working hard to keep the house cool. It’s been a challenge - especially as the dogs have been kept inside all day & cant get out to toilet (the older smaller more recent dogs don’t know how to use the doggie door).... So it’s regular toilet breaks outside every 45 mins. And treat time! Yep..... definitely treat time amongst it all.

02.01.2022 People ask me often....... You must get busy? ... And I want to just choke on those words (in between a very hectic personal daily schedule of)........ - an 11 hour working day - coordinating dogs to the vet all week - dealing with extremely sick dogs - cooking & feeding multiple dogs each night - adopters visiting our home for 1-2 hours (after we’ve just finished work ourselves) - ensuring we have a social life - caring & looking after 12 dogs - running the never ending administration of a charity. Oh....... And living in a house that currently looks like a ghetto (as we undergo 5 weeks of renovations). It’s madness.... and so yeah, we’re kinda busy. Which explains why we drink heaps too.
