09.01.2022 Last few games - highlights East Bulimba at home This was a great game, played in the rain, both teams had good numbers with 3 or 4 subs per side. Bumpa refereed the game and kept control in difficult circumstances. All I remember was there was lots of tries on both sides Condamine VRQ Tour... A few of the Wynnum boys traveled to Condamine for the interior tour. Mark, Brian and Steve D traveled on the XXXX bus, and the first beer was opened at 07:05am - it was all downhill from there. As always the condamine people were very friendly and looked after us. We played 5 Games of 10 & 15m halves, with players from Sunnybank, XXXX Wynnum, Easts and Bunderburg making composite teams. In addition teams from Condamine, Chinchilla, Gundiwindi , Toowoomba and Warwick also turned out for a great day. Festivities went on well into the night, and after a hearty breakfast, we travelled home - the beers continued to flow SunnyBank Festival Last weekend the Sunnybank festival was attended by about 80 players. 4 Games were played, although Wynnum were weak in numbers, we formed a composite team with Logan, and XXXX. The Crocs had the best of the day, by far being the better team. It was a great pre-curser to the Northern vs Southern hemisphere tests that evening
07.01.2022 Next Game 8th October 2016 - Maroochydore rugby union, 5th Avenue, Maroochydore, Queensland This is a festival with the two last 4 Nations games, 13h00 kick-off with the Walk Bokkes and the Geriatric Nations, forced by the Wobblies and the Olde Blacks - club games in between. Please come along as some of the 4 nations teams are short and you will get a run if you want one
