10.01.2022 At 5:40pm tonight the local CFA in Yarragon will sound the siren 4 times in honour of the four police officers that lost their lives on the Eastern Freeway. The officers in this tribute are Lynette Taylor, Glen Humphris, Kevin King and Josh Prestney. We ask when you hear the siren to put the four officers and their families in your thoughts. May they rest in peace.

09.01.2022 Please Share and sign this petition to Save the Old Yarragon Primary School Site. The Baw Baw Shire are not willing to pay the State Government the $450,000 needed to secure the site- we need your help to support us in keeping this for future community use.

09.01.2022 Yarragon Community filled the room on Wednesday night to vote in support of making sure the land being 3-5 Rollo Street Yarragon (Old Primary School Site) being approx 2.5 acres is retained for community use. A great turnout, we need your support to make sure Baw Baw Shire acquire the land. They promised to do so in 2016- let's ensure this promise is kept.

06.01.2022 Bella Smith was welcomed into the YDCA last night as an honorary member for her outstanding contribution to saving the old primary school site in Rollo Street. Thank you Bella, presenting her membership is President Roy Lindsay.
