05.01.2022 I would like us to support this. If you are able to donate please bring items to girl guides thamks Hi my name is Laylah Griffiths, Im 9 years old and live in Somerset. I have been through some tough times but I dont know what its like to go without food and presents. Last year with the help of lots of amazing people and businesses I donated 400 boxes of food etc to the Salvation Army, Mission Aust, The Womens Shelter, Drug & Alcohol, Wildlife Rescue, Vinnies, Laurel Hou...se and to some less fortunate people in our community that we knew struggled at Christmas. This year I would love to help more families have a better Christmas. With the help of my nan, family and friends we will be handing out boxes and picking them up the week before Christmas. Even a couple of tins of food would be an amazing help. Any donations of non perishable foods, toys, books, lollies, toiletries, baby supplies, pet food etc. would be very much appreciated. Please comment below if you can help me or share xx Go to my Facebook page Laylahs Gifts to see where your donations go Please help if you can as this means so much to me. Love Laylah

04.01.2022 #Repost @girlguidesaustralia with @get_repost Tomorrow is Anzac Day - you can show your Anzac Spirit and remember those who have served and sacrificed by standing at the end of your driveway, on your balcony or simply in your living room at 6am and listening to your own service (link in bio) Also, if you are completing the Saluting their Service ANZAC badge this year you are already remembering and acknowledging our defence forces as you move through that challenge, well done! #Anzacspirit #Lightupthedawn #Guidesconnectau

02.01.2022 The winter sleep-out is almost upon us again. This year due to restrictions girls who wish to participate will be utilising their own backyard as their sleeping location. All the details are on the poster below, if you have any questions please pop them in this post or e-mail me [email protected] . If I don't have the answer I will find it for you fast enough. This is a fantastic opportunity for the girls to gain an awareness of how life can be for some individuals ...and families in our community. For girls who participate there is the opportunity to add this as an activity towards one of the advocacy badges. See more
