Pictured are the winners and runner ups and junior encouragement award winner Rhylie Yaxley We are having a retro hit on Thursday night from 7:30 so bring a small head racquet if you have one, plenty at the club if you don’t and dress retro, will be a very fun night!

23.01.2022 This year has highlighted how important it is to remain connected to each other. We all chose squash as we value being active while enjoying each other’s company. On Saturday August 15 we invite you (past/present players/partners and families) to join us at the Burnie Bowls Club (Cooee) from 5pm for a few games of bowls for $10pp, followed by a set menu dinner $15pp (that’s $25pp all up bargain!) from 7pm. Please rsvp by texting Clinton on 0417146482 with total numbers by this Friday so we can confirm for catering. Will provide more details on menu soon but it’s quality so relax and don’t be too precious

A few points to take note of... * Remember to contact your opponent with plenty of notice if you are unavailable to play. * turn up to the courts even if your opponent is unavailable as there will always be someone to still give you a hit. * If you want supper, bring something along

21.01.2022 Hey everyone, The courts and bar will be open this Friday night for a casual hit and a few froffies from 5:30. We might get the cards and table tennis happening as well so spread the word and come along for a hit or a bevy or both. All are welcome

19.01.2022 The biggest, hottest, and bestest open Tasmanian Squash event for 2020 is just over 8 weeks away! With divisions to suit players of all standards, make sure you come along for some great fun. We also have Tasmania's top 5 players (Jack Hudson, Jamie Pattison, Harry Palfreyman, Toby Moore, Jay Wadd) all super keen to battle it out to get their names on the coveted trophy. With massive thanks to those involved in supporting this event, Eastside Squash Centre, Leon Barnett, the ...Clarence City Council, and Foundation Wealth Advisers. I'd like to invite all squash players to come play in the 2020 City of Clarence Squash Championships. This will be one of the largest open squash event in Tasmania this year so make sure you come along, play, have fun, and watch some great squash. 15.01.2022 To All Wynyard Squash Pennant Players, due to the latest recommendations regarding COVID -19 both A&B Grade pennants will not continue until further notice. Also note that the council has closed the squash centre. Players will be contacted when centre is re-opened. Stay safe everyone. Regards WSRA Committee.

13.01.2022 A few weeks ago this little champ Toby Moore took out the Victorian junior squash open He knocked off last years national u/17 champion and current Australian team member for the World Juniors Dylan Molinaro winning in 4 sets! Also giving a shout out to Kieran Simpson who competed in the u/15 boys division and finished 3rd. Well done fellas and we’re all proud of your efforts

Players are encouraged to be at the courts by 7:15 so we can get games rolling by 7:30. We still have plenty of available positions on all lines in both grades to fill so any past or new players that might be interested in having a hit are warmly welcome.... Contact Andrew on 0419 311 701 for A grade or Ray on 0409 932 948 for B grade. Don't worry if you're unsure about which grade or line you might be playing, we will sort that out. 12.01.2022 Junior training is back on tonight from 4:30pm. Always welcoming new participants and is a great fun way to learn and practice skills of the game. Cost is $5. We are also encouraging members to come along tonight from 5:30 for a quick hit if keen. The club rooms will be open for a few refreshments and looking at ordering pizzas as well

05.01.2022 Hi Squash friends, we are back! With restrictions being relaxed we are now able to resume playing again but with some COVID-19 rules in place. It has been decided that we will open the courts up for social hitting on Monday (Have a hit) Tuesday (B grade) and Thursday (A grade) from 7pm starting tonight. We will run it like this for two weeks and then look at getting a ladders league going. Every person will need to sanitise hands and sign in on arrival. Please don't rock up ...if you are not feeling well... You can turn up and have a hit with anyone or organise an opponent yourself. All welcome See more
