Her work conveys complex emotions: the interplay of darkness and luminosity, strength and vulnerability, and the possibility for new understandings based on an awareness of our dependence on the earth for nourishment. Her images encourage the viewer to look twice, beneath the surface ...of the work and consider both their own identity and their relationship with the environment.
