23.01.2022 Lest We Forget. We Will Remember Them

21.01.2022 Weather - it’s the one thing that has given us so much grief over the years! So much so, that we got to the point of just laughing with it, rather then fighting it If we weren’t getting hit with torrential summer rains while making the sections before the event, it was rain during the set up and competition time. We even had the thought of bringing X Trial to the farmers and provide them with the much needed rain that they needed ... At least these days - we might get hit with the rain during set-up, but we are just thankful that everyone is dry when it comes to competition time I just love this pic of Brendan Smith taking on the beam section. The clouds were rolling in on the first night of competition and thankfully the rain was kept at bay for the first night at least Photo credit: Luke Nieuwhof

The top 6 places in Open Solo will be given their invitation to X Trial 2020 Photo by: Kristie McKinnon

20.01.2022 Kyle Middleton sits down with David from the Trials Australia Podcast! A great interview with the best rider in Australia!! https://trials.com.au//ep-7-kyle-middleton-the-seven-time-

18.01.2022 Jess here and as promised here is our first little trip down memory lane over the last 5years. Each week I will focus a year and can reminisce together. Photo 1: Opening night at Baseball Park 2015. It was finally happening - little did we know that my nerves were actually labour. We had a successful first night and a beautiful baby Girl in our arms the next morning. Photo 2&3: Opening Night at Baseball 2016 - the rain held off.... but little did we know we were going to get ...hit by a deluge of rain the following night and having to cancel the show towards the end of the night due to the heavy rains and lighting strikes. Photo 4&5: 2017 After the epic rainfall from the previous year, we made the bold move of moving X Trial indoors to HBF stadium. We didn’t get rain, but we got a Scorching summers day of 38 making it a tad hot for our pit party before the show, but thankfully the aircon was cracking when we got inside Photo 6&7: 2018 The only year we didn’t get a photo of our course layout but it was great to be back at HBF stadium for another Epic night of thrills and Spills! Photos 8&9: After having to pull out of running a second round in 2018 due to my breast cancer diagnosis - we made a promise to ourselves to come back bigger & better for 2019 and make it our best shows ever!! Over the years we had been curating an amazing team behind the scene and it reflected in the two awesome shows we put on, without our amazing team these events could not have happened with the endless hours of work put into it, with so many laughs along the way! 18.01.2022 Awesome photos of the Aussie team in action at the Trial of Nations in Ibiza

09.01.2022 **ANNOUNCEMENT** Sadly, like many events around Australia and the world, we've had to make the very hard decision to cancel the X Trial Australian Championship this year. The decision was made in response to ongoing concerns relating to the global COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic and in order to protect the health and safety of spectators, riders and officials.... Event manager Simon Price has confirmed all proposed rounds, in Wollongong, Melbourne and Perth, have been cancelled this year, however preparations have already begun on planning the event’s return in 2021. And we promise it will be bigger and better than ever! - The X Trial Team You can read the full media release on our website. https://www.ausxtrial.com.au/

08.01.2022 Hi and Hello We may have been a tad quiet on social media.... but we have been busy behind the scenes. Check out our video to see what we have been up too and like most people celebrating their birthday during Covid-19 - we’re just delaying the party to later in the year

03.01.2022 Day 1 is done and dusted! Tomorrow will decide who will be Crowned Australia’s Natural Terrain Moto Trial Champion. We will also find out the top 6 finishers who will receive their invitation to 2020 X Trial.

03.01.2022 Keep those feet on the pegs Lads and good luck for competing at the TDN in Ibiza. Trial des Nations Team Australia.

02.01.2022 2015 - where to start so many memories! One of my many highlights for me, was the cable drum section - I don’t think it the riders would agree with me on this . But what I love about this section, was watching the crowds reactions. I wish now I had photos of them, cause most of them where gold, with many mum’s having hands over eyes don’t worry I have been known to have my eyes squinted to an almost close when neil has been riding Xtrial . There where a lot of moments f...rom wollongong 2019 where I was that nervous I couldn’t even watch... but that’s another story for another time Does anyone else have a favourite highlight from 2015? 01.01.2022 So we draw 2015 to a quick close - as I said in our stories, we, actually me (Jess) have had my time taken up with home schooling). After an exhilarating first night with Kyle Middleton (@mrkpmiddleton) taking the win, @timcoleman56 in second place and @mind.on.matter with third. We were ready and raring for day two. That was until my waters broke at 2am Saturday morning. Neil was still keen to compete on the Saturday, but when exhaustion and rain set in, we decided it was be...st for him to step aside and let our reserve rider Craig Austin take to the arena. Rain set in that night and we had a few good crashes from the lads. Trevor Campbell has the most spectacular drop off the concrete! Kyle ended up becoming a minding for Chris Bayles, after his bike broke down and was out of the competition. Chris Bayles ended up Taking the Win for the second round. Tim Colman was crowned our first Australian X Trial Champion. Photo Credit: @lukenieuwhof @ Baseball Park
