23.01.2022 ! Last week history was made when Yagurli Tours in partnership with Balloons Aloft Hot air balloon flights conducted a weeklong series of successful balloon flight trials over the tiny gulf town, the spectacular salt pans and breathtaking countryside that surrounds. The astonishing landscape stretches out for hundreds of kilometres in all directions with Balloon flights offering awe inspiring 360 degree vistas over this... incredible and unique countryside. Planning is well underway to offer this incredible experience for a limited number of both morning and evening flights through the 3 month winter season of 2021. It represents a rare opportunity to capture the spectacular sunrises and sunsets over this remarkable and unique landscape. Who would love to experience this? 05.01.2022 Repost PhlipVids via IG The river systems around Burketown in the lower Gulf or Carpentaria looks like veins in the landscape. They look so spectacular from the air and we were lucky enough to fly over it in a chopper recently when we were up in the area filming with Yagurli Tours . The more we visit the more I uncover and learn. From the ground it can see a bit arid but when you go exploring there is so much to find. Definitely helps having a chopper. Or a hot air balloon w...hich they will be kicking off next year. These photos have a slight edit on them to show some more detail in the flow of the water and river systems but when I was shooting with the canon and a CPL the water was really green without he glare. Definitely worth paying a visit to the area and seeing it for yourself. Visit Queensland, Australia #ExploreTNQ #thisisqueensland #seeAustralia
