We are a pretty happy crew at that hour of the morning. It's you and us 40 stalls holders, the birds and dolphins hanging in the breeze with picture post card views to die for!... On the other hand for those who like to sleep in, roll over and pull the blankets up and go back to sleep (we wish), and love a bit of history and in particular this time of year because of the colour purple, the Grafton Twilight Farmers Market is the one of for you. Nestled in the historic Grafton CBD in Market Square (thanks Mr Darke you were spot in in 1848) under the famous Jacaranda trees. You get to see the real stunning beauty of Grafton come alive at this time a day. HEADS UP the Jacas are at their best this week so don't put off coming for a visit to see the street lined purple magic and enjoy a stroll around our farmers market on Thursday. BTW this is Brooke one of our stall holders who is a creative artist who makes handmade soap, bovine art, dried flower arrangements. We have 30 stalls of fresh produce and gourmet house made food. Yamba Farmers & Producers Market Wednesday's 7am-11am Grafton Twilight Farmers Market Thursday's 3.30pm - 7.30 pm.

24.01.2022 TWO NEW PRODUCTS from two different farmers. The top photo we have house made cabana using a secret family Italian recipe (available from Esperenza Farm stall) and then we have house made lamb sausage rolls (available from the Local Dorpa Lamb stall). The really great thing about this food is the person who looks after the farm animals has also created a value added product.... Hand made on the farm it doesn't get any better or fresher. See you at our weekly farmers market tomorrow from 7am. Coffee on the go from 6.30am. Looking forward to seeing all those happy smiling faces as you venture into our special space.

24.01.2022 GUESS WHAT was picked today and heading to our market tomorrow......fresh apricots and cherries from Stanthorpe (available from John our apple guy) and a new stall holder who is selling Australian grown teas....living the dream folks at our farmers market tomorrow!

17.01.2022 15 year old cake designer BAILEY nailed our cake request - to create a market birthday cake using as many local ingredients as possible. The two large cakes and cup cakes looked and tasted divine. From our farmers market - local edible petals (Little Things Grown), pecans (Barefoot Farm), rosella jam (Bakarandi), eggs (Chaffin Creek ), organic flour (Ashby Sourdough). ... From our local industries Bailey used milk and butter (Norco), sugar (Sunshine Sugar). On behalf of our stall holders and myself it has been an amazing two years and we would like to personally thank all our customers who choose to shop and support our local family farms, growers, makers, makers and bakers. All these 40 micro businesses then reinvest the money you spend with them back into our community. By supporting these small food businesses you ensure our local food security is strong and thriving. From us to you - THANKYOU!

11.01.2022 OUR FAVOURITE day of the week is fast approaching. That's right Wednesday's have taken on a new meaning as we dream of what offerings will be at our local farmers market. Our farmers, growers and bakers are out harvesting and picking today ready for you tomorrow. We guarantee our produce has not been to the Brisbane or Sydney markets and has come direct from the 150 klm locivore farm gate to your plate. Have to be quick for the raspberries, strawberries, blueberries and mulb...erries and edible petals. We will have a rose grower, bees wax wraps and Clarence Distillery joining us tomorrow as guest stall holders. See more

11.01.2022 GREAT NEWS PEOPLE: we will be on site at our normal location tomorrow for our Wednesday market. There will be some changes and it will be like a treasure hunt for some of your favourite stall holders. Unfortunately some stall holders are flooded in and can not get out. We have had to relocate some stall holders due to power cord concerns and this is a safety and risk management contingency plan as we do expect some little showers to float on by. Thank you for your patience and we look forward to seeing you all tomorrow in our beautiful location.

11.01.2022 HOW CAN YOU TRUST or know the Yamba Farmers and Producers Market is doing the right thing for you and the health of your family? We have very, very strict rules if you want to be a stall holder at our weekly Wednesday market. We are governed by a set of 'Farmers Market Rules' from the Clarence Valley Council which are reviewed every four years.... Our market also has a set of internal rules which are scrutinised by stallholders and community annually. We care about our reputation and want you to know all our stall holders are of a high standard and compliant with all our rules. What do we do to ensure these high standards are met: - we do farm inspections - kitchens are registered with Council - stallholders have their safe food handling certificates - correct labelling - fresh produce is gate to plate - produce is grown within the 150 klm locavore footprint - value adders are not resellers Today, Bob and I visited Adrian's farm in South Lismore. So excited to see all his produce doing so well and his strawberries are next level. We love seeing the young farmers at our market and we hope other young people are inspired to take up farming. Its a tough gig and feeding the nation rests on their shoulders which is why when you shop with us you are face to face with the crew who are growing your food and can ask questions. See you all on Wednesday from 7am.

09.01.2022 WE KNOW YOU LOVE OUR FOOD because you keep coming back each week and we are very grateful you do. So we thought we might give you a little information about who exactly are the people who grow, make and bake your food for you each week. What drives each of our stall holders to get up each day and get their hands in the soil, wrap their legs around a horse to go mustering, or stand in a hot kitchen to watch over jam that is cooking.... What inspired them to be at our farmers market and what keeps them there. Don't worry you won't miss out because we will also be asking you our customers about what do you love and why is it important we build community connection at our weekly farmers and producers market. See you this Wednesday from 7am at our usual spot.

02.01.2022 HELLO EVERYONE: we have lots of our usual great food coming your way this Wednesday at our weekly farmers and producers market on Wednesday at Whiting Beach from 7am. If you are a visitor to our town and come from a hot spot area in Sydney and are thinking of coming to our market while you are in quarantine over the next few weeks PLEASE REMEMBER the ramifications of your stupidity if you are COVID POSITIVE. Those ramifications are this market would be shut down for two weeks... effectively taking the food out of peoples mouths and no income for my stallholders/farmers. Please think of our community and our stallholders before you enter. Our market has an on-line delivery service at www.yambafarmersdelivery.com if you want to order on line. You can register your entry at our two main entry points or with any of our stall holders as all have our QR code. We have hand sanitiser at both entries and at each stallholders. See more
