24.01.2022 Mark McGowan has just announced that Phase 5 opening has been moved back another 2 months. The new tentative phase 5 opening date is October 24. As the Yanchep Sports Club falls under the Clubs WA umbrella we must follow their reopening procedures. As such our Markets cannot restart until after phase 5 opening and the 2 m rule and max of 500 people has been lifted. ... Fingers crossed we can restart again in November.

15.01.2022 Things are all coming together and looking great for my 1st Sunday Market, I am so grateful for all the hard work Jodie Ann Nikolic has done over the years, my job is to step into her shoes and she has made that so easy. I will never let that go unknown as so much goes into this one day event. Inside/court yard are full of amazing stalls. Our outdoor area is certainly not leaving much room left for empty spaces so if you would like to be stall holder at the next event, I wouldn’t wait too long to enquire. We look forward to seeing you all at the next Yanchep Sports Club Monthly Markets.

04.01.2022 Our Yanchep Sports Club Monthly Markets are all set to go ahead again on Sunday March 29 from 9am-1pm. After 2 years of organising the Markets I, Jodie, am stepping away. I would like to introduce everyone to the incoming Market Coordinator, Joanne Ellis, who will work on behalf of the Yanchep Sports and Social Club. ... Hello everyone, My name is Jo Ellis For those who don’t know me. I live local with my partner Stuart. We have a beautiful blended family with 6 kids and family dog, penny. I have years of experience in customer service, I have held my own market before and about to open a new shop in butler, which some of you are already aware of. I am apart of the Yanchep and mindarie networking group and soon becoming an NRG member. We built our home in the Golf Estate over a year ago and I am keen to become move involved in my local community. When I heard about the Yanchep markets needing someone to manager the events, I was keen to get on board. After meeting Jodie I can see how much time, work and effort she has put into this market and I hope I can fill her shoes. Like you we are all taking this day by day- Once all this has cleared and we know whats happening next, you as our Market Community will know asap. For now please stay safe, we can all play our part in ensure our community is safe by following the steps that have been put in place.... These are stressful times but we have amazing community spirit, the bush fires showed what our community can do in times worry and stress, So call your loved ones, check on those you know who may not have someone to call in times of need and keep up that amazing community spirit we know yanchep and surrounds has.
