15.01.2022 I had a terrific weekend at the Dirranbandi Clinic on the 12th &13th of December. We had 18 participants in all, which was great to see given the time of year and the dry conditions. The Dirranbandi Polocrosse Club has worked hard to improve their facilities and I urge anyone who's never been to make the effort and get out there next year. You won't be disappointed. The hospitality, and enthusiasm shown by these people was fantastic and very much appreciated. I look forward to catching up with everyone at our next Dirran Clinic towards the end of 2016.

13.01.2022 Hello Everyone. Just wanted to let you all know that everything is ok here. We've had some lovely rain and we are currently monitoring the creek levels. Horses are all on high ground close to the house. If the creek rises to a point where paddocks might be affected we will shift horses into the Gatton Showgrounds to keep them high and dry and let us continue to work them. This isn't our first rodeo and we are well versed in flood preparation. I'll keep everyone up to date if there are any changes.

11.01.2022 Although I might not be playing, we will be holding a practice here at Yan Yean Park this Sunday, starting at 9am. All standard of players and horses will be catered for so come along and get your final practice in for the 2015 season. 11.01.2022 2017 has kicked off well, seeing the completion of some successful horsemanship school's in between some enjoyable stockhorse competitions. This weekend the Yan Yean team ventured out to the Killarney Show, seeing YAN YEAN RENDITION bring home Champion Working ASH Mare and Supreme Champion Working ASH of the show. This is a great start to Rendition's season, getting her ready for a big year of polocrosse. Special mention to two client horses who also competed, Poppy and LENZOS HI ON GOLD (Danny). These two horses are progressing very well in the early stages of their career and are taking everything in their stride.

10.01.2022 Well 2016 is off to a flying start with YAN YEAN GABBY winning the maiden at the Lockyer Valley Campdraft on New Year’s Day. Our young Sire YAN YEAN APPRENTICE also impressed finishing equal second. Both these horses were having their first draft. An exciting way to start the year a big Thankyou to Brad Zichke, Ken and Lisa Read, Ben Cook, Darren Reinke, and xspur 7 Performance horses on making the day such a success.

02.01.2022 A big congratulations to Sarah Moriarty and her mare YAN YEAN REWARD. After much coaxing and a last minute lesson on how to crack a whip I persuaded her to enter the Stockman's Challenge at the Stanthorpe Show. She finished 4th in the Dry Work, 3rd in the Wet work and finished 3rd overall. I finished 4th so maybe I shouldn't have pushed her so hard to compete!!!

Yan Yean Gabby, Yan Yean Apprentice, Yan Yean Silhouette, Hillviewlodge Miss Magic and Hillviewlodge Beljay Jessies Chance all placed over the weekend, with Yan Yean Apprentice and Yan Yean Gabby winning their working classes. Thankyou to Michelle Evans and Jody Ezzy for your help.
