15.01.2022 Yarragon Lions has a Garage Sale happening this Saturday 25th January at 8.00am. No early callers thanks. We have lots to sell, the market is on so drop by our shed which is located at the back of our Op Shop and grab a sausage and a bargain at the same time!

13.01.2022 Our Op Shop had a brush with fame yesterday - the lovely Beccy Cole, her wife Libby and a friend Felicity Urquart visited the shop and of course Gary had to have his picture taken with these beautiful ladies!

13.01.2022 Sadly, with stage 3 and 4 restrictions in Victoria and the uncertainty surrounding Covid-19 the 2020 Garden & Home Expo has been Cancelled. It is not possible ...to predict what will happen in the coming months. It is our priority to keep our Community, Exhibitors, and members safe. We are very disappointed after all the planning as this was to be a huge celebration for our 20th year. We thank our Sponsors, Drouin & District Community Bank, The Moorings Metung, Warragul Screens & Glass, Gaffke`s Landscaping, Drouin Timber & Hardware, DNA Propagations, and Mac&Ernie for supporting us. Thanks to all our exhibitors and know we are thinking of you in this uncertain time. Please stay safe everyone and look after yourself. 09.01.2022 And the winner of the Lions Club of Yarragon Christmas Raffle is Simone Dent. Congratulations Simone on winning our major fundraiser for the year!

06.01.2022 This lovely little girl Savannah, comes into the shop multiple times a week and loves dinosaurs..... we gave her this one yesterday because it had a broken tail......she was so excited to take it home and make it better! She named him Boris!

06.01.2022 Shirley, one of our volunteers at the Op Shop, just celebrated her 70th birthday. We also wish Shirley well as she is travelling for the next few months. We wish her a Merry Christmas and safe travels.

03.01.2022 Last Thursday 16th April our E-Bike Raffle was drawn by Yarragon Pharmacist Chris Hardy accompanied by President Peter Petschel, (practicing social distancing). 1st Prize went to Paul Killeen from Pt. Lonsdale Vic. with ticket No. 3127 2nd Prize went to Gary Green from Yarragon with ticket No. 1634. Congratulations to our winners.

02.01.2022 Our Op Shop has been nominated for the People’s Choice Award - please vote for our shop.

02.01.2022 Two weeks ago Yarragon Lions Club donated all the Christmas Raffle monies to our local clubs who helped us raise $4,927.60. CFA received $976.40, Bowling Club received $878.00, Primary School received $988.70, Jnr Football received $474.40, Tennis Club received $734.45, and Snr Football received $875.65. Many thanks to everyone who helped sell tickets and for helping us raise this money for our local community.
