24.01.2022 When a fire occurs in your home, know your plan. Don't re-enter the home once you've evacuated and always call triple zero in an emergency.

19.01.2022 Have you started to prepare for this years season?? Now is the time

16.01.2022 2020 has definitely seen some challenging times, as well as fun times. During Covid-19, a lot of brigade activities and the way we did meetings and training changed a fair bit. Meetings and training were conducted via video conference. However during the last few weeks with restrictions easing we have been able to get back onto essential training. Tonight's training session was to get familiar with the trucks as well as running grass fires. We also threw a burn over drill into the session as well! Well done to all members for their contribution.

16.01.2022 Market update: Hi everyone just a quick update on the market. Due to the ongoing pandemic we have been advised by CFA that we cannot have gatherings. What does ...this mean?? At this stage, the market will remain closed until further notice. We will review this in November. Thank you for understanding. See more

15.01.2022 Today CFA brigades were called to a number of out-of-control burn-offs If you're using the great weather to clean-up your property for fire season, make sure ...you conduct your burn-off safely. A burn-off, if not extinguished properly can re-ignite days after the original burn. Keep your burn-off safe and legal: Check fire restrictions with your local council and register your burn on 1800 668 511 Check and monitor weather conditions particularly wind To avoid unnecessary calls to emergency services, notify your neighbours beforehand Leave a three metre fire break, free from flammable materials around the burn Have sufficient equipment and water to stop the fire spreading Never leave a burn-off unattended stay for its entire duration If your burn-off gets out of control, call ‘000’ immediately

13.01.2022 Behind the scene look at what has been happening to get prepared for this year's fire season..

10.01.2022 We would like to wish all the dads out there a happy fathers day. Thankyou for the work you do and the sacrifices that you make. Hope you enjoyed the sunshine today. Keep well. Stay safe.

08.01.2022 Some great points to minimise hay stack fires

08.01.2022 Feeling the chill at the moment? While heating your home, it's important to make sure that no flammable materials are left near heaters or open flames Always dry clothes at least one metre from the heater to ensure you have a safe (and warm!) weekend

03.01.2022 We’re about to start an important fire season safety campaign. If you have any concerns, or you or a loved one are emotionally affected by the campaign, support is available at vic.gov.au/knowfire or by calling Lifeline 13 11 14. Plan. Act. Survive.

01.01.2022 Great check list if your thinking of doing a burn off...
