25.01.2022 Yesterday we fare welled one of our own. Sammy Mehaffey Lost a fierce battle with cancer. We are truly devastated and will help and support Anne and Family, just as you supported us. I’m a Nigel, friend of Sammy's Along with my Wife Marion we got to know Sammy when we bought the Yarram Holiday Park over 5 years ago. When we were Buying the Park, the then owner Bas, kept saying you’ll need to meet Sammy, you’ll like Sammy, he’s unbelievable. Just then a fellow wearing jeans...Continue reading

Rightly so both the Federal & State Governments ...have placed restrictions on our movements , not to make us angry but to save our lives and to self isolate so that this horrible virus can be stopped quickly. 12.01.2022 Before the rain came yesterday we took our #iso exercise to Hiawatha and the #minniehahafalls . We believe Hiawatha was originally named Fairview, then adopted the name Hiawatha from a nearby property which was named after Longfellows poem. Its 25kms away from the #yarramholidaypark along the Albert River Road that follows the path of the River. The water made a thunderous sound crashing over the falls. 07.01.2022 We managed to sneak out for a couple of hours to enjoy our own back yard. We headed to Robbies Beach just a few minutes drive from #yarramholidaypark with our #adventurepaddleboards on the roof. The only other person on the beach was a friend walking her dogs. Stunning paddle with clear water above the #seagrass #jellyfish and #stingrays . Afterwards we ducked in to #portalbert to grab a much needed coffee from Castim By The Jetty Boat Hire & Kiosk .
