22.01.2022 CRIME WATCH.. do you know these people?? On several occasions this pair have tried to access our premises over the past 6 weeks. 16.01.2022 We had an interesting request by civil contractor carrying out the new road works at the Port of Brisbane. They had a nylon proving mandrel stuck in a conduit, in the concrete barrier on a bridge and it had to be removed before they could hand over the completed bridge. They had tried to use a high pressure jetter and an 8 tonne jack to remove it without success The options were to find someone capable of drilling out the mandrel or demolish the section of barrier to remove ...it. This where Yarrow Plumbing Services expertise came in. After removing the steel hydraulic jack end shaft that had been left in the conduit by fishing it out using hand rods and magnets We used our Picote Solutions Maxi Miller to shred the nylon mandrel to the point where we were able to push what was left out of the pipe The whole process took 15 hours of hard work Challenges during that period was having to retrieve the cutting heads twice when the cable sheared off due to heat stress on the cable. 14.01.2022 Yarrow Plumbing Services No Dig Pipe Repairs relining crew were called in to Major Shopping Centre to reline 20m of 525mm FRC pipe which included 2 x 90 degree bends. The biggest challenge was to reline the 2 bends using pull a place system which as far as we are aware has not been successfully done before. So congratulations to the crew and here's a couple of pictures of the work.

08.01.2022 Yarrow Plumbing Services NO DIG Pipe Repairs have been busy of late. The recently carried out key hole surgery on the sewer drains under the ensuite of a leading Brisbane heart surgeon to repair a displaced pipe The drain from the shower/bath and basin had displaced under the ensuite floor due to soil movement The displacement was so bad we couldn't see the pipe on the other side of the displacement. Our relining Techs drilled 2 150mm holes through the ensuite floor above the... pipe and what they found was a 1.2m section of pipe had totally disappeared when the soil moved. We installed 2 liners,1 off which was a junction liner to reinstate the missing pipe then the we filled the void with sand and capped the holes with inspection openings No Noise, Dust and different coloured tiles in the floor See more
