23.01.2022 Dear Members The A & B grade Club Championships will be run over the next two Tuesday nights. This coming Tuesday the 24th November will be the singles A & B ( Mens & Ladies) and the following Tuesday 1st December will be the Doubles (Mixed, Mens & Ladies)... Please let Bruce Saxby (0418 613 360) know by Monday the 23rd November if you wish to enter any of these events. Please advise who your partner is if you have one or if you need us to assign you with a partner (if possible). For those interested in playing B2 Championships these will be played commencing this Thursday the 26th November. Doubles only (Mixed, Ladies & Mens numbers permitting). 20.01.2022 Dear Members, Invitation to attend 2019 Annual General Meeting On behalf of the Management Committee I wish to extend an invitation to all of you to attend the;... 2019 Annual General Meeting of the Yeppoon Tennis Club Inc. to be held on Monday, 4th November, 2019 at the Clubhouse in 22 Chrisney St., Yeppoon commencing at 7.00 p.m. All committee positions become vacant at A.G.M. and are open for nomination. It is vitally important that ALL positions be filled to ensure the Club continues to function efficiently to the benefit of all members. Nomination forms are available at Clubhouse and close on Friday 1/11/2019 Following the AGM we would also like to invite you to stay for Tea/Coffee and eats to celebrate the end of another successful year. 19.01.2022 Dear Members, Tennis Australia/Tennis Queensland is running a fund raiser at Yeppoon Tennis Club details below: Date: Saturday 28th November... Time: 10am to 3pm Location: Yeppoon Tennis Club The club will be supporting this event by running a sausage sizzle all monies raised from this will be donated to the local Hidden Valley Rural Brigade. The Canteen will also be open for refreshments (tea & coffee etc) Two large marquees will be set up (helpers required from 8am to assist with this) We will also be having tennis and pickleball courts set up for play for people to come and try for free on the day. (Pickleball from 8.30am & Social tennis from 1pm will continue as normal) Hotshots Mini Tennis is being run by Robert Beak and a few of his team and face painting will be set up and available for the kids for free. There will be a raffle run on the day Prizes included are below; - A Head Racket signed by Laver, Rosewall, Cooper and Anderson which is priceless, - Rafa Nadal’s signed Aero Racket - A framed and signed photo from last years Brisbane International All proceeds from the raffle will again be donated to the local Hidden Valley Rural Brigade. 19.01.2022 Pickleball Social, 14 players got amongst it today. Kel done his best with the round robin draw, with all the comings and goings. Missed you John. Thanks Gordon, a player from Gold coast visited. As usual a great morning had, we had a couple rounds trying to set games to skill levels.... Was great to see Mitch and Sharon on opposite side with and equally matched playing partners. Wishing you all a merry Christmas and fabulous new year, and we will be back hitting the courts on Saturday the 9th of January 2021.

14.01.2022 Wednesday Comp Night. Even in the festive season we had 9 players. Welcome Diane great to see a new face, trusting you are hooked like the rest of us.... Good on you Kathleen for coming doing from Rocky. Well how can we stop the number 1 player, again the Cadbury Shield goes to Sharon, but only just, Tracey went to the long game for that all important Win, against Sharon but no chocolate, Some other great tight games tonite, players are learning the skills, and young Olly loves the net watch him. Thanks Sharon for getting in early with the keys, appreciate it. Social Pickleball this Saturday 8am for a 8 30 start. only $5 come play, last game until New year.
11.01.2022 We had 10 players for our first pickleball comp night, everyone enjoyed the round robin and got 5 games. We had some close games, and playing under lights gave it a real tournament feel. Well to the results and the winner of the Cadbury shield was Sharon with 5 wins, Congrats, runner up with 4 wins was Tracey. Mitch and John both had 3 wins each, but on point count back Mitch got 3 rd place by 5 points.... Well we are looking for more players either Saturday Socials , or wednesday comp nights, so please get in contact with us and join us in this fast and exciting game.

05.01.2022 Great day at Pickleball today. So good to have some young ones join in the fun. We had 4 courts running today and we had some visitors from Gladstone. Hope you come back and join us again Jenny & Russell and good luck with starting up Pickleball in Gladstone. We all enjoyed a great Christmas morning tea. Thankyou everyone for bringing a plate.
