25.01.2022 The Willy’s is getting closer & closer to ready, this little gem is currently without an exhaust & is being manually fed fuel, she’s a little loud (lucky we have awesome neighbours) If you’ve got a keen eye you might just catch some flames & spark making an appearance... Kel

25.01.2022 Something out of the ordinary I've needed a runaround for a while and was trying to juggle what to use for an out of town job. This little gem turned up before sunset yesterday, dirt cheap, no start, oil leaks, dents and bad rear shocks. With... Cold air con, low ks, fresh oil and coolant, new tyres, good stereo... Nothing but a new battery and we ran it approx 290km today. Amazing little bubble

24.01.2022 And the build begins

23.01.2022 It's been a while since I made real progress on the Willies. Finally finished the main tub

21.01.2022 Well after a while of not being sure if a gasket had gone/was going, dropping in power (flux capacitor ran low on crystal formations) I decided over the long weekend the old girl needed a bit of some mcluvin, so head gaskets and intake manifold gaskets replaced and all sludge and gunk cleaned from...well...everything (took about a day of cleaning) Then Jesse decided that the intake manifold could do with a paint job... - Dee (the younger, more attractive and single brother/mechanic/penguin protector)

20.01.2022 Something I've been helping with. Just a final tune today, must say I'm jealous..

16.01.2022 Slow slow progress, big and little ends in (all under .020") new cam, timing gears/ chain, timing cover on, pickup and sump on, new harmonic balancer Etc etc

15.01.2022 Rod guides finally showed up (have been on order from Yella Terra for weeks, quick call to Early-Holdens and they're here the next day. Can't praise his price and service enough) so the ute won't be far off now. Sounds terrible/ loud, this was a quick run up to get oil into top end so I could adjust the rollers

14.01.2022 A million years later it's time to build another race car. Not kidding myself on being competitive anymore nor that it'll be done any time soon but.. 74 MK2 escort getting a 13b turbo, tr6060 trans, 09 forester rear suspension, BA falcon diff... Loosely based off Colin McRae's car should be fun in a few years

12.01.2022 Slowly slowly, a bit of visual progress on the Willies

09.01.2022 Little by little she's starting to look like a car. Awful lot left to go but certainly taking shape. Should be able to drive her around the block within the next month hopefully, then it's on to all the little things (wiring ughh..)

07.01.2022 Hi guys, Kel here Jesse is having issues accessing messages on the page. I can access messages & pass them on, however direct contact with him via phone is more beneficial for you guys & speeds up the process. If you need him it’s best to call his mobile at the moment. ... 0457869525 Thanks all for your understanding & awesomeness! Ta Kel

07.01.2022 Update for everyone: I've joined forces with the Boulder Trading Post (MEEDAC) and can now be found there continuing the same great service as always with the added benefits of a full workshop, additional staff and coming soon licensing (pits) the mobile side is a bit touch and go at present whilst we set up a full mobile workshop (ute) specifically for it. Locals can appreciate that the look of the place isn't presently the greatest but keep an eye out as there's lots of things on the cards and a multitude of improvements being quietly made behind the scenes. We'll continue to maintain the page for performance and engineering projects along the way, there'll be a few changes there due to changes in circumstance and I expect everyone will be pleasantly surprised Cheers all Jess

05.01.2022 One little bit at a time, overhauled the heads (cleaned and faced, reseated valves, new stem seals) and sat on the block (all for show/ there's no internals yet) can't wait for the bottom end to get here so I can start actually building it. *those valves are massive **she'll be pretty

04.01.2022 Slow progress. Not actually as far along as it looks but trying to do something small every day. Starting to take shape

04.01.2022 Well, i have decided now that the power/lighting to the shed is complete (and im procrastinating the bathroom reno) that my beloved golf buggy is due for a repaint and rebuild, sporting a yamaha G2 engine with a wopping 285cc! (Rebuild/upgrade kit to come) she'll be a lovely beast once again! - Dee (the other bloke, i protect penguins)

02.01.2022 Sadly the work ute decided to drop cylinders after all the attention it's had... Quick turnaround it now has a quite healthy 308 for awhile. The 253 will make a comeback (at approximately 290ci by the time I'm happy)

02.01.2022 A quick build on the quiet. As I was pushing too hard to finish the CJ for engineering my voice of reason (Kell) told me to wait another year and drive this instead. A long way from what it was when it showed up already. It's just over a month in the build, a couple of weeks and it'll be close to as new.

01.01.2022 Finally started stripping the Willies for its end build, as it ran so well I'd envisioned simply cleaning it/ putting new gaskets throughout/ painting and that's all. Tear down however shows she's terminal so it's a ground up build. Honed and machined the block today to see if she's saveable (yes she is)
