24.01.2022 Hi yinyangers, as a covid safety precaution, yin yang is cancelling classes for the next 2 days. Classes will resume on Wednesday 26th August 6-7pm at paradise point, unless otherwise notified. Please Spread the word, stay safe, Taekwon!

23.01.2022 Congratulations to all who participated in grading today. You all did so well and have made myself, all the black belts, your family and friends so very proud of you. An extra big congratulations to Eion Murphy, Talithah Trevor and Josiah Trevor- whom after many years hard work acheived their black belts today. 21.01.2022 Hi Yin Yangers, Grading is this Saturday 7th September at Runaway Bay Community Center. Be there at 7:30 for check in and warm ups. Grading runs from 8am- 12pm. We have students going for their black belt, so come along to cheer them on. White belts and yellow tips may leave from 10:30am, all other students are expected to stay until the end. Students will be assessed and invited to grade in class throughout the week. Taekwon!

19.01.2022 Hi guys, sadly we have made the decision to cancel Grading this weekend. Training will continue until Thursday this week, unless advised otherwise, with additional social distancing measures in place. We will be conducting in class gradings for eligible students over the next 3 days. Please stay away from training if you are unwell, have recently been overseas, are in a high risk health catergory, or have been in contact with a confirmed case of Covid-19. 16.01.2022 Hi Yin Yangers, sadly all taekwondo training is cancelled until further notice due to social isolation requirements for Covid-19. Monthly fees will be suspended until training resumes, however we are asking that each family continue to pay $15 per family/month if possible to cover continuing administration fees. If this request causes you or your family financial stress during this time, please contact me privately to suspend all payments. On a positive note, congratulation...s to Brody, Jack, Tyson, Beau, Melissa, Cat, Nathan, Jackson, Alex and Jaco, who all passed last week's in-class grading. I look forward to promoting you when we meet next. Special mention to Jaco and Alex, our new black-tips, who graded over two days, in order to meet the requirements of grading to a senior colour belt rank (4th-1st Gup). 14.01.2022 Great news, restrictions have eased! The paradise point hall can now take 42 students (sorry parents, it's 42 people total in the venue, so you'll have to stay outside if the class is full). Come along to either Monday or Wednesday without booking, fees resume to normal for July. Can't wait to have a full class again! Taekwon

09.01.2022 Hi YinYangers, Grading Day tomorrow, 7:45am-11:30am at the Paradise Point Large Hall. If you have been invited to grade, please bring your form and payment, along with drink bottle. If you are feeling un well or have travelled inter-state recently, or been in contact with any cases of covid 19, please stay home. 04.01.2022 Hi Yin Yangers, hope you are all well. Over the last week I have recieved many requests from our students asking for additional online training, while our contact classes are closed. We thank you all for the patience and support you have shown while we work through the impact of covid-19 on our club and family. While Tim and I have taken some time to think this through, we have decided that we can not provide this service ourselves at this time. However, I've got some great n...ews! Yin Yang will be partnering with Master Weston to bring Taekwon-do to you. Master Weston has kindly agreed to open his online classes to Yin Yang Members. This is an awesome opportunity to receive training under an esteemed Master, and continue in the valued connections Yin Yang has with Southern ITF. 02.01.2022 Hi guys, just letting you know training is on tonight, as we are operating under a covid plan. Please stay away if you feel unwell in any way, have been to any Covid 'hot spots' or had any contact with confirmed cases. When we are in the dojang it's extremely important we maintain physical distancing and follow the health regulations at all times. Grading at this stage is set for Saturday 12th September at paradise point hall from 7:45am-11:30 am, though this may change at any stage as we respond to the Crazy Covid times we live in. 01.01.2022 Great news!!!! Training starts back next week! We have new restrictions and requirements, and a limit on class numbers, and training duration. Unfortunately this means you can no longer just rock up to class. If you are interested in training again from next week, please contact me, so I can book you in a class. As we are only allowed 20 people indoors at any one time, we are limited to ONE class per student each week, until further notice. Caregivers will have to drop off... and pick up only. No spectators. AVAILABLE classes are at our Paradise Point location. 01.01.2022 Hi yinyangers, for those of you who have booked classes this week, please read the following important information. We have a strick limit of only 20 people in the hall at any one time. This means all caregivers must remain outside the hall, so please just drop off participants or stay in the car. On arrival a contact information register must be filled in, this will be on a table outside the hall. This register includes students name, address, phone number and email address.... I am required to email this information to the GCCC after every class.This must be filled out by participants before entering the hall. Please bring your own pen to do this. No student showing any sign of illness will be allowed into the hall. Temperatures will be taken on arrival. There is a hand sanitizing station inside the hall, all students will use this on arrival and exit. Please remember your drink bottle as the kitchen and water fountain are strictly off limits. Please go to the bathroom if possible before arrival. At all times students and instructors are to remain 1.5m apart. The classes for this week are full. All class times are now 6-7pm due to cleaning requirements after classes. As to training fees, it will be a class fee of $12/class per student until July. Payment via bank deposit.
