At the beginning of his success he had nothing but his yoga and bicycle, also his urgency to persist and carry on. Iyengar was awarded two of India’s greatest civilian awards. He sadly passed at age 95 but lived on as the yoga guru legend! Iyengar born December 14, 1918 and into poverty but he said If I hadn’t been born into such a poor family, I probably w...ouldn’t have gained anything. I am grateful that poverty followed me for years. Knowledge was born from this poverty. He believes you must first struggle and trace the missing links of refinement and precision. Evolve your practice with a set of asanas and another set, using the alignment and intelligence in the asanas. You must prepare your body before doing the difficult asanas.
