25.01.2022 Yum and nutritious salad for warm spring days. kids love cucumber, tomatoes, carrots, olives. could be fussy eating greens . Eat with your child and encourage them to try one new thing from the salad bowl every time and it works perfect for us!!!

23.01.2022 Today , 1 October is marked as a world vegetarian day Eat 5 different vegetables and 2 fruits a day I ate beans, cauli, carrot, peas, mandarine and Raspberries today. I love all my vegetables and fruits. What is your favourite vegetable? What vegetables did you eat today?

22.01.2022 Another encouraging feedback from Oakleigh library coordinator: Thanks you so much for your wonderful program. The children really enjoyed the activity and it was amazing to see how relaxed and refreshed they were after the session. It was clear that teaching the children the simple relaxation and mindfulness techniques used in your yoga session could really help them focus and release stress. The sessions were age-appropriate and they all left the room looking happy and refreshed. You were prompt, well organised and set up and packed down quickly.

16.01.2022 Affirmations are an integral part of our yoga classes. Affirmations can help children feel confident and cultivate a positive self image. Our brain believes what we think. if we think i can’t and that becomes true but instead if we say I can that too becomes true. We call out affirmations in our yoga classes while moving into poses like when we are doing lion pose, we repeat to our self I am strong, in warrior pose we repeat I am kind I am myself to extend this, i asked kids to prepare the Affirmations poster for themselves during holidays. I am so proud to share one of my student’s (7 years old) amazing amazing poster. well done sweetie

They can also quickly change the mindset to positive when situations are not desirable by repeating Affirmations. Another beautiful poster by my 5 year old student. My heart melts seeing the beautiful effort and to see that kids can learn things so easily and come up with so many beautiful Affirmations. Very very proud of you Champ
