Also great for anyone who feels unsteady standing and doing exercise. Choose to do all of it or just some of it and find some poses that you can incorporate into your day. Enjoy!

21.01.2022 As this year draws to a close I would like to thank all my valued customers for your support throughout the year. Despite it being tough and threatened with closures we kept going and I managed to be there for those who were brave enough to venture out all year long. I am taking a few weeks off now and will be back in the clinic 12th January 2021. Hopefully will have some exciting new ventures and the long awaited yoga classes/workshops next year.

21.01.2022 Having a shit day? We all have days which are just shit.... they start bad, they get worse and everyone and everything annoys and offends you... I had one today.... nothing major and not even worth mentioning just one of those days... and I know tomorrow will be better but why do we allow our minds to convince us the world is against us? Why do we need a self pity party? Maybe sometimes we just do. Accept it, move on and face the new day a fresh. Here’s to shit days! May they remind us of how good life normally is!!

19.01.2022 Why not try a gentle grounding practice and slow yourself. This is a demonstration of a morning practice that I seem to be guided to at the moment. I spend quite a bit of time bringing my head back down to earth and simply breathing. 17.01.2022 Remember self care is so important for all of us. You cant pour from an empty cup and you cant give unless you have energy and calm within you. I am currently away on a retreat so am out of the clinic until next week then back for a week then away two weeks with the kids for school holidays. As a result no appointments until October now. 11.01.2022 The diagram below illustrates such an important message, especially in light of all the current global issues which are filling our minds. Remember mental health is as important as physical health and the two can be combined so beautifully with yoga and mindfulness practices. So spend a few minutes tuning in to your breath and taking some time out from all the chatter in your mind. Why not; Take a walk, embrace nature, hug your dog, appreciate the simple things, Tell someo...ne you love them or show them by giving them some time and attention and be present in the moment. Feel the flow of your breath in and out and for 5 relaxed yet deep belly breaths try and visualise positive energy coming in and negative energy flowing out. Et voila you are practising mindfulness! 04.01.2022 Most of my clients will already know this lovely Morning body scan and spinal mobilisation, but I thought I would share with you all. Start your day the right way, clearing the mind, setting intentions, loosening off the spine and pelvis and tuning into your breath. This routine can be easily shortened for a busy schedule and modified to suit different ailments. Please note that if you have acute low back pain and havent been reviewed by a physio do not try these exercises and if you have had a recent hip replacement some of these movements would need to be adjusted. Enjoy!
