23.01.2022 SUNDAY FUNDAY During our 6 week challenge i have incorporated fortnightly get togethers. Belonging as a community is all part of health and wellbeing. Socialising is a natural human need and i hope we have inspired you to get a bunch of friends together and tackle a walk and enjoy the outdoors. 13.01.2022 FRONT RAISES lots of improvement in the room this morning. Well done you lot Control is key! There is a time and place for pumping out reps- and lifting heavy aint one of them.... All good and well if you can pump it out...maybe for a bodyweight exercise, it all depends on what your trying to achieve right!? BUT when it comes to weight lifting if you can pump it out its either too light and your not lifting to your full potential OR its too heavy therefore going fast creates momentum to be able to lift it. TIP #1 Ask yourself before lifting- what muscles am i working? Where should i be feeling it? If you dont know- find out!! TIP #2 Slow the reps down a bit and contract the muscles for longer to encourage those muscles to switch on. #technique #control

05.01.2022 SEASON DONE. A massive shout out to my kids. All the late and cold nights at training and the saturdays playing. Its very exhausting when you commit yourself to a sport and as a family everyone is affected. Our family time was cut short some days especially because Grant and i both joined teams, but we are lucky to have kids that adapt very well! As a result i have made some awesome friends- thanks ladies! I have also had the opportunity to watch my sexay husband @grantwlesl...ie show me his skills and watching him get out and do what he loves is just amazing.
