25.01.2022 Last week we were fortunate to run our first, and likely last, event for some time. A brave audience came to NAB Docklands to hear from an excellent panel of Impact Investment industry leaders, expertly facilitated a superstar former Young AICC Committee Member Romy Grace. Rachel Yang of Impact Investment Group's Giant Leap Fund... Matt Tominic of The Impact Group Alex Opes of Social Venture Australia discussed everything from industry jargon, the difficulty in measuring impact, what they look for in opportunities, the challenge of delivering both market reutrns and impact, and their favourite deals to date. Many Thanks to Tomm Ben-David and NAB for their support. As you might expect, with restrictions on gatherings and travel bans now in place, the Young AICC will be suspending any further major events, boardroom lunches and our trade mission to Israel until the foreseeable future. Our mentoring program will continue, a separate communication will go out to participants shortly. All this being said, we don't want to lose touch with our members. So, the committee will be putting our creative thinking hats on to find ways to bring you interesting contect in a more remote fashion. Stay tuned, and most importantly stay healthy.

22.01.2022 True to the saying, all good things must come to an end. It is with mixed feelings that we at the Young AICC say farewell to Romy Ladowsky, who has decided to pursue an exciting new career opportunity. The Young AICC Committee would like to extend a sincere thank you to Romy for all her hard work and say that it's been a joy and privilege working with her.... As most of you will know, two and half years ago Romy started at the Young AICC as Employee #1. Since then, she has been an absolute superstar at motivating and guiding the committee into action, spearheading some new initiatives (such as our very first Trade Mission!), and generally lifting the profile and professionalism of the Young AICC through strong leadership and strategic relationships. We are sad to see her go, but excited for her about the opportunties that lay ahead. A formal recruitment process will follow in the coming weeks, so if you're interested, or know someone who might be, keep a look out.

10.01.2022 It's been a long time between events, but we're back! Webinar 1 TUESDAY 29 SEPTEMBER 6:00-7:00PM... Daphna Nissenbaum Co-Founder and CEO TIPA https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/israeli-entrepreneur-series While we are all stuck at home, innovation doesn’t sleep. So we have put together a series of events focused on some of the most topical, innovative and disruptive startups from Israel. In our 1-on-1 interviews with these Co-Founders and CEOs, you will hear about their professional and educational backgrounds, passions, successes, failures, as well as a real insight into Israel's unique startup ecosystem and entrepreneurial culture. With Victoria and Australia's recycling systems at almost crisis levels, we are excited to hear about some of the opportunities that this kind of technology can deliver and the positive impacts it can have on our environment.

08.01.2022 Last night we launched our Mentoring Program in partnership with Hall & Wilcox, which uniquely pairs students, young professionals and senior executives into a mentoring triad for 4 months. This year’s program has 54 participants across 18 triads and the energy in the room last night was truly amazing! We had the honour of having Janett Egber, Erin Pinto, Milana Momcilovic and Streicher Luow from the League of Intrapreneurs facilitate the first session and share insights about the growing global movement of Social Intrapreneurship and how practising intrapreneurs are driving change, connecting the dots & working across sectors to implement change from within large organisations. A huge thank you to all involved.

01.01.2022 The Young Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce is proud to bring you an exciting series of webinars featuring Israeli Founders and CEOs. Join us for our first webinar of the series with the CEO of TIPA, Daphna.
