25.01.2022 ANZAC DAY 2020 Anzac Day, 25 April, is one of Australias most important national occasions. It marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War. We observed the Anzac Day at Young Einsteins ELC, by making Anzac cookies, making poppy flowers and doing face paintings under the theme of "we remember them"



25.01.2022 WELCOME TO THE INSECT CORNER Children are naturally curious about and interested in insects. Trough our insect corner, we expect to encourage our children to appreciate the insect diversity through exploration and investigation. We believe that this is the best age to give them a jump start in science and at Young Einsteins ELC, we are always willing to support and encourage our Young Scientists to improve their skills, knowledge, experiences and the understanding of the natural world.

25.01.2022 GROUP TIMES Group time allows children to get ready for learning in a setting which is familiar to school. They build up important skills such as whole body listening, increased concentration and active listening skills.



25.01.2022 Footprints Footprint Painting is a wonderful opportunity for babies and toddlers to learn. They learn cause and effect from this activity as they see that their feet are making prints on the paper. They learn tactile and sensory skills from touching the paint and feeling how paint feels on their skin and in between their toes. At Young Einsteins ELC our toddlers and babies enjoyed doing footprint stamping on a paper and painting their friends feet .

24.01.2022 OUTDOOR PLAY Playing outside in autumn, winter, and early spring, each present their own unique opportunities for exploration and learning. Therefore, outdoor play should be embraced in all types of weather. Our children at Young Einsteins ELC enjoyed this weather while playing outside.

24.01.2022 Happy Easter We celebrated Easter at Young Einsteins with loads of fun activities such as egg hunting, face painting, cooking and most of all with a yummy Easter tea.



24.01.2022 NATIONAL PYJAMA DAY National Pyjama Day is about everyone around the country wearing their favourite pyjamas all day on 17th July to help raise funds and awareness for children in foster care. On Friday, we celebrated the pyjama day at Young Einsteins ELC by wearing pyjamas all day, reading books, doing face painting, watching movies and eating pop-corn with our kids.

24.01.2022 SHAPES Learning shapes involve many aspects such as mathematical skills, sorting and visual motor skills . Kids notice different shapes even though they dont know that those shapes have names. It takes longer for young children to learn the specific properties of each shape, such as the number of sides or how the shape looks. At Young Einsteins ELC we provide opportunities for our children to explore, learn and be familiar with the shapes around them both purposley and unpurposely

24.01.2022 SAND WRITING Sand writing is a fun way to get kids learning letters, shapes and numbers. Our kinders used sand writing trays to learn te spellings for their names by writing their names on sand. It is a great sensory way for children to remember letters with more fun and creativity rather than using a pen or pencil. They remember it better as it is more fun.

22.01.2022 JUNIOR MASTERCHEFS Cooking can help young kids learn and practice some basic math concepts and build language skills. And the experience of creating meals can help build their self-confidence and lay the foundation for healthy eating habits. Our children celebrated the grand finale of Junior Masterchef 2020 by making yummy yummy pizza for their afternoon tea. They made their own pizza by chosing their favourite igredients following all the steps with a little help. Well done our junior masterchefs!

22.01.2022 EARTH DAY Every year, on 22nd of April, we celebrate the international earth day. But not only on the earth day, but also on all the other days, we need to teach our children about protecting the earth.We can teach them how to care for earth and keep it healthy and clean for generations to come. Because children are the future and if anyone is going to make a difference and start new ways of protecting the earth, its our children.



21.01.2022 HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!! We celebrated mothers day 2020 at Young Einsteins ELC by doing various activities with our kids. Our toddlers and babies made cards, flowers and wrapped gifts for their mothers and our kinders made their hand prints and painted them for their moms. Also our children got face paintings done to show their love to their loving mothers and they all had soo many stories to share about their mothers. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL THE WONDERFUL MOTHERS !! 19.01.2022 FIRE FIGHTERS Water is an important natural material that provides hours of absorbing fun and a multitude of wonderful development and learning opportunities. Whats more enjoyable for toddlers than getting a chance to play with water. Our toddlers enjoyed pretending to be fire fighters and playing with water while learning numbers.

17.01.2022 Sunny Wednesday Outdoor Fun! Today at Young Einsteins Dandenong, one of our popular experiences were our outdoor obstacle courses, with tyres, a bridge and then with our different sized climbing frames. The children are developing muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance. Building and encouraging their self-esteem and confidence. Increasing stability, building strong muscles, heart and bones. Development of their locomotor skills such as walking, running, hopping balancing and climbing.

17.01.2022 WORLD ANIMAL DAY World Animal Day is observed every year on October 4th to raise awareness about improving the welfare standards of the animals around the world. At Young Einsteins ELC we did many activities with our children to celebrate the World Animal Day and to involve our children in doing something special to highlight the importance of animals in the world.

16.01.2022 MIRROR MIRROR Mirror, mirror on the wall Who is the fairest of them all? Mirror, mirror what do I see? Someone looking back at me!... Our twins enjoy playing with the mirror more than playing with any other toy.Mirror play is also a way to nurture childrens developing self-awareness, which is a key part of their overall social-emotional development.

16.01.2022 HAPPY HALLOWEEN Yesterday, we celebrated Halloween at Young Einsteins ELC, Clayton with many fun filled acitivities for our children. All the educators and children were dressed up and they engaged in games and activities like balloon dance, musical chairs, trick or treat, face painting and many more. All the food items for the party were prepared with the participation of children. At Young Einsteins ELC, we always make sure to turn every event into a memorable experience for our children. However Young Einsteins ELC will remain open and will be operated under our current risk mitigation environment as per the regulatory requirements advised by the Health Department

14.01.2022 MEDITATION According to studies meditation or mindfulness help children to develop positive traits such as increased self-control, better attentiveness and more empathy and respect for others. In general regular practice of meditaion gives us more resilient and happier children. At Young Einsteins ELC, our kinder children regularly practice meditaion after lunch for 15 minutes and we think it has made a possitive difference in them.

13.01.2022 WORLD FOOD DAY On Friday, we celebrated the World Food Day by providing children with food and smoothie prepared at the centre. Children were all excited to participate in preparing smoothie and taste the yummy food prepared by their educator. We also used the Wold Food Day to make children aware of the people who do not have such privilege as there are people all over the world who are suffering from hunger and need our help.

12.01.2022 COLOR MIXING Today in the Kindergarten room the children enjoyed observing a science experience of colour mixing. The children have recently been learning about primary and secondary colours and what colours can be mixed together to create others. This experience extended their learning further and provoked lots of group discussion and collaboration of ideas for future experiments. At Young Einsteins ELC, we provide every possible opportunity for children to improve their knowledge.

11.01.2022 Our Kinders at Young Einsteins Dandenong have been having so much fun mixing glitter and using various loose parts such as different sized sticks with some PINK Playdough. They made a Pizza, a hedgehog and cookies. Here are some benefits for preschoolers when manipulating and exploring with Playdough. Children love playdough. It is soft, squishy and they can make anything out of it. What makes it so appealing is that it is relaxing and therapeutic. Children need to develop their finger muscles and have proper finger control before they can learn to write at school. During the preschool years, they develop these muscles through a variety of play activities. Playdough is one of the best for this.

10.01.2022 PRETEND PLAY Pretend play is an essential part of a childs development. Pretend play help children to develop their creativity and imagination as well as their social and emotional skills. 09.01.2022 DRAWING The simple act of drawing does indeed play an important role in a childs physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Drawing can be done anywhere with anything. Though all it needs is a little bit of encouragement, it develops your childs creativity, knowledge and many more skills. 08.01.2022 DOUGHNUTS Whats better for a cold winter day than yummy home made doughnuts. Our kinders made doughnuts for their afternoon tea on friday and they really enjoyed making it. Baking is not only about fun and taste, it also involves many skills including maths concepts like number recognition, counting, estimating and sorting, science such as mixing different ingredients, following a step by step process, fine motor skills, eye and hand coordination skills as well as social and language development skills. While playing the game, they were focusing on the rhythm and they were learning how to move with a group. Also this game help to improve their listening and social skill. 07.01.2022 OUR GIANT GIRAFFE Art and craft is an important aspect of early childhood development as when kids engage in an art project, even from an early age, they explore size and shapes. Kids begin evaluating and comparing objects, strengthening early math skills. More importantly, drawing, painting, and other art activities help kids to develop spatial reasoning skills. At Young Einsteins ELC, we are creating many opportunities for our kids develop their skills. Our Kinders made this giant giraffe as their project for the world animal day. They enjoyed each and every step of this project by giving their maximum participation.

07.01.2022 CLOTHES STORE welcome to the Young Einsteins Clothes Shop. This is our new play area in the kinder room and our kinder children seem to be enjoying it to the most. even our toddlers had an opportunity to shop there and try some clothes. our objective of this activity is to develop childrens social emotional and numerical skills also with their communication skills, negotiation skills, confidence, and the ability to make friends, be persistent, and be creative in completing tasks and solving problems.
