25.01.2022 This group of heifers just happened to all be by the same sire HH Advance 5044C. They will all calve later this year too Holden Herefords & Cooper Hereford Ranch Line One bulls.

22.01.2022 0002x with 6007d calf.
17.01.2022 We think these 3 young bulls are pretty special. All by HH Advance 6007D, a bull we brought into Australia three years ago. We’ll keep one or two and sell the other next year. The middle bull was used to mop an AI program on heifers this year.

12.01.2022 Some of the bulls we're using this year. Bred from the top cows in our own Line One commercial herd, they ensure we keep progressing with the maternal and carcass strength LineOne cattle are known for.
10.01.2022 Don and Maureen Younger of Hansonville Vic. use solely Younger Hereford bulls in their commercial operation. Their latest kill, 38 grass fed steers averaged 335kg carcass weight returning $2011. MSA index 62.32 av 32 were milk tooth, 30 marbled 1&2 JBS Brooklyn 27/12/19... These cattle are a massive 52kg heavier than the national non-grain fed average carcass weight and are just at the top 10% for MSA index (or eating quality). The highest paying carcass' to us are the heaviest, not the highest MSA indexed. However as MSA indexing becomes more influential on price per kilo, its nice to know the LineOne hereford cattle we are producing in Australia have not only excellent weight for age but are still close to the top 10% of cattle graded for MSA, which in 2019 was nearly 3.5 million (non-grain fed). 10.01.2022 Calving is well underway! Here's a first calving HH Advance 1069Y heifer with her HH Advance 5161R calf. The Dam of this heifer is by HH Advance 0002X.
09.01.2022 Jan2020 Vs March2020 What a difference a few weeks makes when it finally rains. From feeding every head to now only a few, and with another 30-40mm yesterday It looks as though we are back to some sort of normality (at least on the farm anyway!). #thankafarmerforyournextmeal
08.01.2022 This is the end result! When we send steers we often get a few boxes of meat back for family and friends. This time eye-fillet from Wingham Beef Exports , grass-fed, antibiotic and hormone free, well marbled particularly for this cut.
08.01.2022 X Marks the Spot! In 1995, 25 years ago, we began collecting carcass data on ALL yearling bulls and heifers, and continue to do so today. Years of data sell with these bulls!
07.01.2022 It’s not all about the cattle! Chloe, Jordan and Poppy Vern checking to see if Dad sowed the the oats up the right way! Geoff Younger Margaret Younger Gemma Younger

04.01.2022 58 milk and 2 tooth Younger Hereford steers $2,325 av, 332kg av carcass wt 61.0av MSA index 54 marbled 1-3 score Fat cover 8-22mm, 14mm av... All hit premium price of $7/kg Sold into Wingham Beef Exports premium Grass fed antibiotic/ hormone free market 31/8/20. These cattle are a result of our Line One Hereford program. While their mates were agisted to the Riverina last year, they stayed home to fend for themselves on hay. When the season changed late summer they were put onto native grass and later forage oats where they never looked back. Margaret Younger Geoff Younger
