25.01.2022 Good morning Wednesday. Early morning Power Hour at Grays Point. Soaking in nature for s great start to the day

25.01.2022 Early morning walk with a view. Love the sunrise as it signals a new day, new beginnings, leave the past behind #letgo #goodmorning

25.01.2022 The world has officially gone made. Stockpiling toilet paper wtf. Took to nature to restore some calm and balance to my life. Loved that there are streams & puddles everywhere after the rain. If you look close in this puddle you will see some tadpoles. Nature is so amazing, don’t forget to stop and take it in #royalnationalpark #kokodatraining

24.01.2022 Obstacles - I love this as it can be applied to all areas of your life. Over the past few years I have learn’t that I am capable of far more than I ever realised. Not just physically but also mentally. There will always be obstacles popping up and you have a choice on how you deal with them. You need to focus on what is true to you and then decide if it is worth navigating around or letting go. Once this decision is made the path will become clearer.

24.01.2022 Moon in the West, sun in the East & sand between the toes . Fantastic start to the weekend with @makingmeditationmainstream @lovefrombelinda

24.01.2022 Enjoying an after work beach walk with my dog, making the most of the late sunshine. Enjoying the sights and sounds of the sea #walkinnature #beachdays #sandbetweenmytoes

24.01.2022 30 days of Gratitude What smell are you grateful for? The smell of coffee. I like to take the time to enjoy my drink, savouring the taste and smell, while also using the to to just be... Bonus is a shot of coffee wisdom to go with it @mrpaisleyscafe

23.01.2022 As 2019 comes to an end, I am holding those caught in the craziness of the bushfires in my thoughts. While we are safe, lord knows what others are going through at the moment. Stay safe, hold those close tight and welcome in the next decade with compassion and positive thoughts.

23.01.2022 The weekend is here Now the weather is getting warmer, I can’t wait to get my shoes off and walk around bare footed. Shoes are sometimes overrated. I love the feeling of the ground underneath my feet -the sand between my toes, the tickle of the grass, the damp soil, walking in the muddy puddles. When was the last time you connected with the earth?

23.01.2022 Happy Australia Day Early bush walk . Breakfast . Now to relax with a BBQ & great Aussie music

22.01.2022 It’s In The Bag collection period finishes this Saturday 7th December. If you have. Bag ready or are putting one together don’t forget to drop it to Bunnings by Saturday 7th I stopped mine in yesterday but forgot to take a photo,so I am sharing this story instead

21.01.2022 I love this and as October, which is Mental Health Month, is drawing to a close it is a timely reminder. We can all get caught up in the stories in our head, which can take us on an unpleasant path. We need to take time for ourselves, be kind to ourselves & change those stories to more positive ones. Talk to yourself as you would talk to those you love & care for but don't over complicate it. Just talk to yourself the way you would talk to a little child.... Have a great weekend.

20.01.2022 If sunflower can’t make you happy then what can? Fresh from @shirefarmersmarket #happyweekend #sunshine

20.01.2022 Shire friends, let’s join together and support the RFS Tomorrow morning South Cronulla 5am

20.01.2022 Today is World Mental Health Day , October is Mental Health Month & R U Okay is one day in September but what about the rest of the days in the year. Mental health issues can affect many people in many different ways & is nothing to be ashamed about. No two people are affected the same. What someone looks like on the outside is not always a true reflection of what is happening on the inside. Check in with your friends, acquaintances, family & colleagues, on any day of the year, even if they seem okay. There is a chance they will be totally fine but if they aren't, by someone showing that one little bit of interest could be all they need.

20.01.2022 Life can be very busy -rushing all the time, feeling like you are running around in circles. Maybe we need to take the lead from our animal friends - switch off to everything around us (thoughts, ideas, sounds, people, to do lists) & just appreciate the moment( or minutes or hours) for what it is. Just sit & be present Have a great weekend

20.01.2022 After this has passed, maybe we can take forward some positive changes from it.

19.01.2022 A little bit excited with this email. @teresacutter_healthychef new cookbook Earth to Table is on its way insert happy dance here. #healthychef#reafood#anothercookbook

18.01.2022 Feelin’ this so hard tonight

18.01.2022 Up until 2020 we all lived life at a fast pace, running around constantly, not really taking in the smaller things in life. For me, the biggest take away from 2020 is that life will still continue, even in a pandemic. It may not be the life we are accustomed to but for me it became a new normal. Becoming aware of the smaller things around you, being grateful for what we have, slowing down & not stressing over the small stuff... I love this 30 day calendar to help you become more aware of the smaller things Who is up for the challenge? Everyday starting tomorrow, Sunday 29th November, I will post my gratefulness. Feel free to join in

18.01.2022 Covid-19 bonus, working less means more time to explore. Today’s adventure to Cape Bailey Lighthouse & beyond. It really fascinates me that these rock formations have been here for thousands of years & have survived. Makes my realise how small we are in the whole scheme of things & that we will survive, just like these rocks have #nature #windswept #coastalwalk

18.01.2022 Excited that this little baby was delivered this morning. I am trying to reduce the amount in my general garbage bin and I’m sure this will help immensely. Even though I have a worm farm, I have way too much for their little tummies so this bin is the answer. Thanks @tabletoearth for such a great service, I will happily forego a coffee a week to pay for it. #composting #thereisnoplanetb #reducewaste

17.01.2022 I missed Day 2, I will double up with that one later this week Day 3 - What colour are you grateful for? I love, love yellow. So happy & bright, it's hard not to smile. Something yellow can brighten the darkest day.... From a field full of sunflowers to the golden rays of a sunrise, the colour a rock face to a ready to eat banana. What colour are you grateful for? W

17.01.2022 Happy hump day. Enjoying the early morning. Never get tired of Mother Nature’s light show.

15.01.2022 I’m on top of the world. This really shows what a small part we play on the planet. Standing on top of this I could see for miles - trees, mist, lake. I spending time in the nature - listening to the stillness, in awe of its vastness, the fresh smells after the rain. How did you start your weekend?

15.01.2022 All set for Kirrawee Public School Fair. Love supporting local community #doterra #sunsout

15.01.2022 Another day starting with a gorgeous sunrise. Although the temperature has dropped my thoughts are with all those still in danger zones with the current bush fire situation To all those working to save as much as possible - police, firies, volunteers, communities -thank you for all your selfless hard work. Stay safe and may the day bring some reprieve

14.01.2022 Another day, another hike in nature. A mix of everything today- rain, puddles, climbing over trees. Taking time to notice the little things. Love this tiny blue mushroom nestled into the hill. #kokodatraining #nature

14.01.2022 We take a lot of things for granted and this our emergency services are one of them. Today is NSW Ambulance Appreciation Day. Thank you to all of those on the front line & behind the scenes that provide this service, have to deal with things unimaginable & keep turning up every day to do it all again. The public might not always seem like it but we do value your service.

14.01.2022 I had decided at the beginning of 2020 it was my year to slow down, reassess, prioritise, do what makes me truly happy and remove any surplus that wasn’t needed. Well it now appears that I will have plenty of time to do so, much quicker than I planned Stay safe everyone, we will get through this

14.01.2022 Thing don’t always go as you think they will. Change is hard but necessary to grow. Embrace where you are, the more you fight against it the harder it is

13.01.2022 Did you know? Australians discard 23 kilograms of clothing per person every year? This results in 6 tonnes of textiles and clothing contributed to landfill in A...ustralia every 10 minute. Here is another way to donate quality preloved clothing : https://www.theiconic.com.au/giving-made-easy/ Salvos Stores have partnered with THE ICONIC and Australia Post via the Giving Made Easy program allowing those with an active ICONIC account to donate clothing and footwear that are in a good condition clothing and footwear that are in a good condition, simply by downloading the pre-paid postage label and sending their pre-loved items via post.

12.01.2022 Apparently this article is over 6 years old but in light of the current world situation I think it is a great reminder. It is a great read. One thing that Covid has forced us to do is to SLOW DOWN.........I know I have embraced not having to rush around constantly. Taking time slow down, to stop, look & listen, has so many benefits.... Have you found this time helpful or has it raised your anxiety levels?

11.01.2022 Something to ponder

11.01.2022 The long weeks is here and I am lucky as I get a 4 day weekend . It is off to a wet start but I’m not letting that dampen my spirits. Hoping to get out in the garden & a bush walk in over the next few days. What plans do you have? #timeout#longweekend

08.01.2022 30 Days of Gratitude I missed day 2, so here it is What technology are you grateful for?... I sometimes find myself overwhelmed with technology, wishing that we could go back to the "good old days", enjoying some time stepping away from being contactable 24/7, being bombarded with information. Don't get me wrong, technology has a place but sometimes it can rule our world. But 2020 has been the year of adapting & with that came ZOOM. I have really loved to be able to connect to people, face to face, in real time. People that I know very well, especially my family in New Zealand but also being able to connect with those who share similar interests to me. They could be in the same city, state, country or anywhere in the world, it didn't really matter. Being able to participate in classes/courses/seminars that are in other cities or countries from the where ever I happened to be at the time. This opened up a whole lot of connection & opportunities that would normally be limited to those who were nearby.

08.01.2022 No filter required. Saturday morning meditation @makingmeditationmainstream @inbalancewellness

04.01.2022 30 Days of Gratitude Day 5 - a Sound I am grateful for I love spending time with away from the hustle of normal life in nature. I love all the bush sounds- bird’s calling, cicada’s, the lapping or crashing if waves but my favourite is the running water in a creek or river. ... It could be a cascading waterfall or the gentle babble of a creek. The sound of water to me means that there has been rain and the waters are freely flowing.
