01.01.2022 Lets make it crystal clear! There are plenty of Karens on social media along with a few People with legitimate concerns. Our workplace and our activities do n...ot over ride or ignore COVID19 and whilst it is a little sad that I have to send out this message again and again, its important that we lead by example. We are not flaunting or ignoring the restrictions and the situation legally or ethically. We are regularly in contact with the relevant authorities and are following their advice and guidelines. We take direction from Vic Police, Business Victoria, DELWP, Parks Victoria and the DHHS in regards to what we can do to stay safe, responsible and operational under the restrictions. We communicate directly with these groups and have their full support in doing what we do. There are many factors at play in running a business and keeping our economy out of a disaster. Whilst none of these are more important than anyones life, the fact remains that the restrictions, laws and guidelines allow us to responsibly do what we do because of the lack of risk it poses and the befits it provides in keeping our staff employed, our business running and the broader effects that all has on our economy, sanity and way of life. I am frustrated when I see individuals and groups not taking the situation seriously. We are certainly doing the right thing. I encourage everyone to do as we are, stay safe, follow the guidelines, look after your friends and family and do the right thing. Together we will all get through this and instead of accusing and attacking how about some understanding and support for each other. I am and always have been personally available to anyone who needs support or just wants a chat. Lets look after each other please.
