25.01.2022 Super excited that we’ve got a coach from Badminton Australia coming to our session today Hope to see you there too

23.01.2022 R U OK? Day was this week. Such a good reminder to check in on people around us and perhaps an opportunity to check in with yourself for many. To be honest, some days our to-do list seems endless and the same systems that are needed to support our work can be overwhelming. These are especially the days we’re extra grateful to have a team that checks in, encourages and supports each other. Shout out to SWAT colleagues for creating a safe space to not be ok if anyone needs a moment to have a breath and re-set. Are you ok?

22.01.2022 Tag someone you admire for their self-belief?

21.01.2022 You never realise how many steps are involved in assembling the perfect scone until you have to do it with you non-dominant hand What a practical and fun way of helping the rest of the team understand CIMT as part of OT week

20.01.2022 Being kind to yourself only when you deserve it is like watering a plant only when it rains. Be kind to yourself always. What does being kind to yourself mean for you?

20.01.2022 Just a quick weekend check-in What are you doing that brings you joy today?

19.01.2022 Happy OT week! So grateful to be on a team with our amazing OT crew! OTs have such a gift of looking at an individual’s needs with such holistic eyes, from equipment to self-care to mindfulness (barely grazing the list) Share your OT story or shout out to an OT who’s made a difference in your journey below #ThisIsOT

18.01.2022 You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream -C.S. Lewis What would another goal of a new dream look like for you?

15.01.2022 May you start new chapters and enjoy where your book takes you. May you find courage to change the parts of your story you want to and adapt to any plot twists that may be ahead Wishing everyone a healthy, peaceful and joyous 2021.

14.01.2022 Check out these hidden talents! How empowering it is to do something you thought you never could As with all skill development, mindful practice is the best way to success. Shout out to Soul Drift for the opportunity to collaborate

14.01.2022 When it is obvious that goals can’t be reached, don’t adjust the goals, but adjust the action steps. Confucius Hmmmm, so applicable to goal setting on the therapy journey too. Reviewing and reflecting on goals and therapy plans is a vital process to achieving the outcomes you are working towards. Have you done this with your goals lately? Chat with you Key-workers about how you think things are going, what’s been helpful and the bumps along the way These conversations are so important to us, it also helps review which goals are the priority for you along the way

13.01.2022 This week our SISTAs Club explored the importance of R&R time when it comes to self care How does your self-care look like this weekend?

12.01.2022 So as part of celebrating International Day Of People With Disabilities, all week we will be sharing stories of incredible humans and their abilities Meet Maryjoy This lovely lady exudes a wonderful combination of joy, confidence and individuality She constantly reminds everyone around her how to delight in the simple pleasures in life, how to have fun and how to not worry about what others think about you. Maryjoy has been working on slowing down and channeling her en...ergy this year. She has applied this in conversations, in participating in groups and in learning new skills like aquatic exercises and badminton. Maryjoy turns 29 this weekend and had a mini celebration surrounded by many family and friends who truly value her. She did have a dilemma about weather to wear a hat or crown but went with the sun safe option You do you queen! What’s your story? Send us photos if you would like to be part of this celebration #idpwd

05.01.2022 WOW! So this happened this afternoon. 11 new authors had their books launched in Bunbury. What incredible stories. It’s difficult to describe in words the pride and joy experienced by the friends, family and support teams who were privileged to be part of this journey. So thankful to be able to collaborate with Kate at the Book Incubator to make this happen. What a lovely end to the weekend.
