24.01.2022 Hoops, Hoops and more Hoops! If my title doesn’t give it away, I love hoop earrings & am so happy that they are trending this Spring/Summer. On the runway, the bigger the better! In real life you might not feel comfortable (both physically from the weight, and from the attention they attract) going for extra large pieces, but you can still bring this trend into your daily look.... Try taking your hoop size up a level. If you normally would wear small hoops, move to a medium size design (like picture). If you already feel comfortable with medium sized hoops then take things up a notch & go large! Hoops will feature heavily in both my Spring and Summer collections and quite frankly I can’t wait to be wearing them.

19.01.2022 Currently Trending... Over the coming weeks, I am going to discuss the jewellery trends that have already started or are coming soon. It'll also give you a big hint about what is to come in my Spring and Summer collections. Let’s start with continuing trends, Pearls. Ladies, pearls are not going anywhere anytime soon. My best friend was keen for me to add pearl items to the DL collection. That girl has style, so I listened! ... Pearls are widely associated with elegance, and the elite (‘Would you like to come to the polo club darling?’), and for me, they have an air of nostalgia. My grandmother, June, known to her grandchildren as Bibby, (she was not being called Nana or grandma thank you very much!) had the most beautiful strands of pearls, acquired on overseas holidays and in the Sydney antique markets. As a child, her pearl necklaces represented the height of elegance and sophistication. As a woman in her 40’s a traditional strand of pearls isn’t in my current look. Modern pearl styles that have been trending in 2020 and will continue to be a sought after look for Australian women this Spring/Summer offer twists on the classic. Pearls both in finer, and chunky styling are represented and Pearl earrings are taking many forms from the simple stud earrings to large hoops. Choker necklaces are being represented and you will see pearl rings from fine to stacked designs.

03.01.2022 Stacking Rings Stacking rings have been around for a while, & while wearing multiple rings that are very similar is still trending, can can also have some fun with it. Mix & match your favourite gemstones & band colours. Anything goes. Embrace your inner goddess & go for it!... So what about size? If you are going to wear multiple bands on one finger then size does matter. If the total thickness is more than 2mm, go up a ring size to allow for flexibility when taking them off (especially if your fingers tend to swell in the warmer weather).
