25.01.2022 Ending my week with the newest edition to The Dog Jogger family - Charlie the choccy Dalmatian at 9 weeks old is a heart stopper! Happy Friday!
21.01.2022 Finding what motivates our dogs can be a weird process BUT it is important. Charlie boy is very impulsive so a nice relaxing walk is difficult to come by - until I have a handful of sweet spring grass If it helps him learn that there’s value sticking by my side for even 100m - that’s 100m less of pulling us down the road
20.01.2022 The legs on this boy are not too dissimilar to a giraffe We’ve been working on appropriate play and interactions around other dogs, calmness around the front door, and leash manners and engagement when out in the big wide world and he’s doing GREAT! Quickly becoming a real dog not a tiny puppy anymore!
16.01.2022 On Wednesday’s we match. Young Clay can glue to me like extra strong blu-tack. While this can be lovely for some, it does no real favours for Clay and it can get frustrating constantly having to watch where I step so I don’t squash the poor boy. Here, he’s learning that he can have some attention and affection if he lays quietly and calmly on his blanket. ... This is the extent of contact he’s allowed to have and he will he take every inch and every second he can! Let’s teach those pups some confidence and independence!
15.01.2022 H A P P Y F R I D A Y Welcoming Moppy to TDJ crew even though he is already family. Moppy is my aunty and uncle’s little rescue. Over the last few weeks, we have been introducing a few things to give my uncle better control and engagement on walks and giving Moppy a place to hang out when people come and go from the front door as he is a very successful door dasher! He’s doing so well, my uncle feels so much more confident and their bond is growing each day (My uncle made this little edit with my young cousin )
12.01.2022 Squid This girl loves using her hands - and is especially good at a ‘beg’ trick. Today we introduced a handful of new tricks and behaviours to teach her that don’t involve her hands so she learns there’s better ways to get the attention she wants from mum and dad! She’s such a clever I can’t wait to see how she progresses in a couple of weeks!
10.01.2022 Tyson loves a big bush adventure
08.01.2022 Well there you have it, all! The criteria has been set! If you could identify one thing about this video I would change if this were my client; what would it be? Let’s see how well TDJ family know me If you can find a second; you win bonus points!
04.01.2022 Welcome Marvel the tiniest fluffiest ounce of 9 week old puppy! We are BUILDING on her independence and confidence being alone, impulse control and calm around baby gates and doors, and polishing up her toilet training. Her owners have done such a fantastic job setting her up for success from the very beginning!
02.01.2022 To say I’m excited is an understatement So much exploring to do!
