24.01.2022 LANE COVE Local residents can dive into October in style with the Lane Cove Acquatic Leisure Center finally opening it's doors after a state-of-the-art overhaul THIS long weekend (3rd - 5th). The centre will now feature an 800 seat grandstand, eight-lane 50 metre pool, new change rooms with on deck showers (found underneath the impressive new grandstand)- there's even a new marshalling area complete with hearing loops for competitions and carnivals!... 21.01.2022 KU RING GAI AREA A highly endangered specious of Orchid has been found at a new, secret location within the Ku-ring-gai Council catchment! Thought to be located in fewer than 10 locations within NSW - this is a fantastic discovery! The Eastern Australian Underground Orchid develops completely beneath the soil, with flowering heads maturing below the surface and sometime ending up about 2cm above ground.

Hes king of the household and likes to show off his tricks! He can play dead, roll over, twirl and jump through a hoop! This year Ku-ring-Gai Council has been recognised for its bushfire awareness campaign in the 2020 LGNSW (Local Government NSW) RH Dougherty Awards! The Australian Kelpie was never really interested in the whole 'cattle mustering' thing and prefers pulling up a stool at the front bar and hanging out with the locals....
