06.01.2022 Get your beast ready for summer. Servicing and electrical checkups can take only an hour or two but will make sure you wont end up stuck halfway up the Coorong with an incomimg tide. Unless you've forgotten to let your tyres down. I can't prevent stupidness.... :) Last weekend I watched a Brand new Toyota Troopy drive 20m and get bogged. Out jumps Old mate and his wife in all the new fishing shirts. Whip out the max tracks, get out, drive 20m and get bogged. as I putted past in my 32 year old 60 series, I asked if he'd let his tyres down. "yeah mate I know what I'm doing" ok I thought. Bye. I drove off and watched them do this three or four times before I got bored and left. Moral of this story? Money doesn't buy smart. But it does buy maxx tracks and snazzy shirts. All the gear, no idea.

06.01.2022 The new YP truck. Gave it a service and drove it 2000kms across Australia. Ran like a clock. Love the old mechanical injection diesels. And this ones a turbo :)

04.01.2022 Good progress today, disc brake upgrade complete for the 45 ute. New king pin and wheel bearings. Stops a beauty! Steering tomorrow.
