24.01.2022 New in store at Yuen's are popcorn snacks from Aussie health food maker Nutters. Their range is made in their Ingleburn, NSW, factory and are enjoyed by thousands of Australians every year. The Crunchy Honeycorn and Caramel popcorns are made with all natural ingredients, and the Honeycorn is gluten free and made with pure honey. Also new to Yuen's is yummy Carobana Honeycomb from Coffs Harbour. Treat yourself!

19.01.2022 We're closed this Friday for the Gold Coast Show Day Holiday but we'll reopen again on Saturday at 7am as usual. We're also closing 5pm each day while the main store makeover goes on. So please note the change to our trading hours because we'd hate for you to get here and be disappointed. 19.01.2022 Here's an impressive new line in store now at Yuen's if you're looking for organic vegan meal options. All you have to do is heat these up and add to your creation of choice. The Thai mix has fragrant sweet notes, the BBQ mix is great with loaded fries, on rice, in a burger or salad, and the Mexican packs some heat and has all the right spices to get your taste buds bopping in nachos, burritos, tacos and enchiladas. The jackfruit is in the fig, mulberry, and breadfruit family, and it has a texture similar to shredded meat. It's also a very sustainable crop - a single tree yields two to three tonnes every year. Carob Kitchen bars are made in sunny Port Elliot, South Australia, by a family owned company that planted their first carob trees 17 year ago. 02.01.2022 It's time to fool around with fennel! This aniseed-flavoured vegetable covers a range of flavours from its delicate top to its round white bulb. In soups, it's subtle and soothing. Blitz with potato in a creamy soup to savour. It goes well with most meats and especially with fish and in gratins where its flavour really shines. You can even eat it raw - thinly sliced in salads. A super easy start with fennel is a gratin as a side dish to whatever you fancy. Just trim the tops ...of four bulbs and pop in boiling salted water for five minutes, then cut into wedges and place in an oven dish. Top with parmesan cheese and bake at 200C for 20 mins. For a creamy, garlicky version, pour 200ml of double cream combined with a crushed garlic clove over the fennel before topping with the parmesan. 02.01.2022 Meet Caulilini, a special treat for those who like cauliflower and new in store at Yuens. It looks a little like pale broccolini. But while broccolini was created by naturally crossing two different veggies together, caulilini is all natural cauliflower. Its a variety popular in Asia but, until now, it hasnt been seen in Australia and was only released on the US market last year Caulilini is entirely edible from flower to stem and has a tender stalk that turns bright green when cooked. Sweetly delicious, the shape adds flavour and texture to any dish, and it can be steamed, fried, grilled, or just used fresh to add a new look to your usual salad or stir fry. Its not all about the flavour thoughit's also rich in fibre, and vitamins B6 and C. Come in and give Caulilini a go!
