20.01.2022 Tramfest 2017 The Year of the Tram Tramfest has evolved into a much loved and anticipated experience for the residents of Nambour, the Hinterland and surrou...nds, and we are keen to keep the event fresh and alive. Tramfest Street Parties are changing in 2017 from being a monthly event to being held quarterly March, July, September and December. The Tramfest Organising Committee have decided to make this change for a number of reasons firstly it will give more flexibility and allow us to stage the event on the following Saturday in the event of rain or inclement weather, or in the event of a clashing with another major music/food event. Another consideration for holding Tramfest quarterly rather than monthly is the fact that Tramfest is ONLY made possible by an amazing group of core volunteers who give freely and generously of their time and energy each and every month. We understand the enormity of their labour and time sacrificed in setting up and dismantling this event, and certainly dont want to burn these volunteers out. Tramfest also relies heavily on the following major sponsors who have supported Tramfest from day 1, and continue to generously support Claytons Towing, Shake it up Music, Suncoast Care, Alan Marr Electrical, Verifact, Coates Hire, The Beach House Hotel, Wilenco, Kleer Ice and Parmalat Milk. Tramfest is more than just a great family event in the heart of Nambour. It also serves to help raise money for the Nambour Tram. The ongoing community and local business support for the Nambour Tram is very encouraging. A big thank you to all those who continue to support this exciting, game-changing project for Nambours future. Next Tramfest Saturday March 18!
