23.01.2022 A $15.1 million, once-in-100-year project is delivering a more efficient and reliable water supply for 14,000 households and businesses in Kew and Balwyn. This major upgrade replaced pipes that were installed during World War One over a century ago. New pipes will ensure the water supply keeps up with demand for years to come. 19.01.2022 After ten years in planning, and two years in the making, construction of the Epping Main Sewer is now complete. This 2.3 kilometre gravity sewer is a vital piece of infrastructure that will help cater for the population growth in Melbourne’s outer north. Our construction partner John Holland used a tunnel boring machine to construct a 42 metre deep tunnel, and constructed one of the deepest sewers in our system.
