25.01.2022 We had such an amazing time at our Celebration Night, graduating and honouring such special people & celebrating Papua New Guineas Independence! Many laughs, (happy tears), dancing, and coming together in thankfulness for this quarter and so much more!

21.01.2022 Friday was such a fun one! We had the opportunity to spend our Friday with these awesome year 12 students giving tours of the @ywamshipsaus and the work we do in PNG, team building activities, growing and learning together on various topics, singing, and spending time in the outdoors! There's such an importance in empowering this generation and it's encouraging to see them become more confident and know they were created for such purpose!

20.01.2022 Another IGHD Update from our team! The team has just recently arrived back to Townsville this week to continue with outreach opportunities here! They have spent the past few weeks teaching in MANY schools...all things first aid, COVID safety, wound care, infection, scabies, bandaging, goals & values, good hygiene, healthy eyes, ears, & nose, nutrition, and oral hygiene. They met heaps of incredible children who were so engaged and willing to learn! Also, the team ran wellness checks and triage at a Primary Health Care Clinic We are excited to have them back and so looking forward to the opportunities that will come over the next few weeks as they continue outreach locally

The cafe will provide placements for hospitality students and contribute towards much needed funds to help build healthy lives and communities in Papua New Guinea & Australia!

08.01.2022 What has the Introduction to Global Health & Development School been up to recently??? They've worked with Townsville Multicultural Support Group teaching english, gone through all the medication on the ship & helped prep clinics. Over the weekends they've been working with first aiders & street chaplains. ... The team taught first aid & CPR to year 12 students, and are helping with team building games tomorrow with year 12's as well! Next Monday they are heading to Palm Island for 2.5 weeks teaching year 11 -12 students on various topics. And to top it off they have been reading the bible out loud all outreach, in each location! What a team!
