24.01.2022 The club might not be able to hold any events lately, but you can be seen in our merchandise. Thanks to Reckless Race Concepts for helping out the club with all the designs and clothing. Postage on the Jerseys/T-shirts will be $10 and the hoodies will be $20. Contactless free pick up available from Brooklyn/Docklands (am hours) or Glenroy (pm hours). Sadly this time of the year, the club would be hosting Cressy Descent. The committee is missing you all and holding the shutt...le days/events. When we have a clear picture on what is deemed "Covid Normal" the club will resume the shuttle days. See more

23.01.2022 Whilst it should have been the 10th Anniversary of Cressy, instead we can celebrate 10 Years since the Facebook Page was started as now sitting on 10k follows thanks to everyone’s support over the years plus all the fun we have had since Cressy was no longer a climb! During this time I have aimed to keep personal posts to a minimum but as the jersey from this picture only hit the bin last week to make way for some fresh some Loose Riders threads, I am hoping some people are... keen to visit, like, share and support my new page Loose Riders Goldfields in order to us help support local riders and share good times from people who like riding bikes and trails in Western Victoria. I will still be supporting the YYMTB Club with website, social media, flyers, trail maintenance etc as well as remain a committee member into the future can't wait to see everyone back at shuttles days and events sooner rather than later, ride on! It's a bit of read through the master plan documents. There is a online event happening on the 16th September for feedback on their master plan. 19.01.2022 Heads up if you are planing to ride at You Yangs on Sunday. Princes Freeway will be closed between Hoppers Crossing and Werribee from 9pm Saturday night to 5am Monday morning. All traffic will be detoured through Werribee. Traffic will be chaos so suggest you plan to ride else where if you normally travel this way to get to the You Yangs.

19.01.2022 You Yangs Regional Park is outside the Melbourne Metro lockdown area. If you live within Melbourne Metro, you can't go riding there in the next 6 weeks. If you live outside of the Melbourne Metro, you can still go riding.

15.01.2022 For all riders that will be at the park this weekend, please be mindful of Track 10 blind step down landing. It has reshaped ready for what we anticipate to be a busy weekend.

15.01.2022 A small group from the trail crew will be removing boneseed weeds and clearing sight lines on track 6 (Latic Acid) from 9am Sunday. The trail will be closed while the crew is at work. All other trails remain open to ride.

15.01.2022 With the ring of steel coming down as of midnight tonight. The club knows that there is a lot of riders out there hangin to get on the trails. The club ask that riders respect all users of the park. Stay safe and remember social distancing.

11.01.2022 Happy Thursday! A few updates to share from Parks Victoria * Kurrajong carpark has been repaired and open for use. * Drysdale Road carpark is still closed. Repairs should be finished ready to open for the weekend. * The blue section of the Stockyards Management Track shown on the map in the image is CLOSED due to serious erosion issues. This is closed to everyone including walkers, runners and riders. All MTB trails can still be accessed.... * All MTB trails are OPEN The You Yangs are the busiest they have ever been with usage more than doubling since the park has re-opened. Please remember to respect the social distancing guidelines and trail etiquette while out enjoying the trails.

10.01.2022 Great news from Parks they have a roading contractor booked to begin repair works to Drysdale Carpark! Next week 2nd, 3rd and 4th of June. The car park will be closed at this time but the trails will still be open.
