23.01.2022 We're pleased to announce that we'll be releasing a free version of our software. This special release is based on Zedmed Version 32, and focuses on providing practices with access to the brand new ePrescribing function. Originally this functionality was to be made available towards the end of 2020, however the Covid-19 outbreak and subsequent lockdown measures prompted the ADHA, in conjunction with the Federal Government, to implement a fast-track program to bring ePrescribi...ng to market as soon as possible. Were now offering this functionality, free of charge, to practices who dont yet have access to ePrescribing functionality or who have previously been paper-based. We plan on releasing this version of Zedmed later in June and are now taking registrations from interested practices. 16.01.2022 With the outbreak of the Coronavirus, the Australian Government has fast-tracked the delivery of electronic prescribing (ePrescribing) to help practitioners protect people most at-risk in our community from exposure to COVID-19. Zedmed is part of this fast-tracking program and will be releasing this functionality in Version 32, which is scheduled for release in early May. On 11 March 2020, the Prime Minister, announced a $2.4 Billion health plan to fight COVID-19 to protect all Australians, including vulnerable groups such as the elderly, those with chronic conditions and Indigenous communities, from the coronavirus (COVID-19). 10.01.2022 Today Zedmed achieved a major milestone, with our first e-Prescription being prescribed and dispensed through a live telehealth consultation between a GP and a patient. The prescription was between Medical One Sydenham and Care Plus Sydenham using Fred Dispense, and the test proved how simple, seamless and convenient the functionality will be for patients, practitioners and pharmacists alike. A big thank you to everyone involved, this is a very exciting time as we move through the roll-out of Zedmed V32!

05.01.2022 We're excited to announce that ePrescribing will soon be available with the release of Zedmed Version 33. This release is part of the accelerated rollout of ePrescribing across Greater Melbourne to support those most at risk from COVID-19. Zedmed V33 is currently in pilot and we will be making this version available to all Zedmed clients, whether they are located in Greater Melbourne or elsewhere, once the pilot is complete....
