25.01.2022 And she’s 5! Thank you for all the birthday love Issy has received this weekend! We went up to Mini mates today and she had a great time with the miniature ponies, would definitely recommend it!

22.01.2022 Book week 2020! We have a Superhero Mum (Isobel’s choice as it’s one of her current favourites, the book was gifted to her from her cousins in England and we had all the stuff already ) and a Shark from Never touch a shark Aaron likes this one as it’s tactile. Did you guys do bookweek this year? It threw me a bit off guard this year but we got there!

Tai Chi is a fantastic form of exercise for seniors as it helps improve balance which then reduces falls risk. It’s also provides much needed social interaction and reduces stress! Sounds like a great initiative!

14.01.2022 If you are looking for something a bit different to do this school holidays I would thoroughly recommend walking an Alpaca at O’Reilly’s! We visited yesterday and Isobel was keen to tell everyone at daycare this morning! Aaron took a while to warm up to them but got into it by the end of the session!

13.01.2022 Food for thought . When I worked down in Melbourne one of the physio’s had a keen interest in youth sports development. He enrolled his son in a key skills course and found an amazing improvement in his basketball compared to going on basketball camp. I have also found teaching young athletes Pilates exercises improves their performance.

13.01.2022 Birthday day eve- trying out these cake mixes from Coles. We have been trialing some dairy in the last few weeks, thankfully Issys skin hasn’t reacted too much so she’s growing out of her dairy sensitivity. Playing it safe though using nutlex and rice milk for her daycare cupcakes!
